Don't knock Cosmoline - it's the reason why that car is not a rust bucket. It's not pretty stuff BUT damn it protects against corrosion. 😉

Someone please explain, if you wanted to paint why did you dry ice it? And is it not better to steam wash first or that would be a complete waste of time?
@IAMDetailing2 жыл бұрын
In order to paint, we still need to strip it down, and dry ice cleaning is the most efficient and thorough way to do that. Steam cleaning is an option, it just takes a ton more time to do it, and typically the results aren’t quite as nice as what Dry Ice can do. We still have that option in our back pocket, but on this particular build, it was better to just blast it away and then paint to the owner’s content

I just about went for an undercarriage cleaning but I used the 24 hour to think rule and it went away. Its not a cheap clean.

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)

I really wish you would do a better job editing your videos vs speeding them up. It renders your content virtually unwatchable. 5 mins at most is all I can take
@IAMDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Okay I’ll bite: care to share what you’d actually like to see?
@jeffreyrobert94602 жыл бұрын
@@IAMDetailing ok so rather than speeding up the entire video, use some careful editing. The video is sped up to the point that it renders it unwatchable. If you insist on speeding it up, perhaps not as fast? I know you’re looking to have a video that is under 20 minutes, but a lot of people bail on a video, including me, that is just sped up too much.
