Thank god for that! I was on 480 days overdue which 2 garages refused to do the work to remove it as part of my annual service!

They refused because your a year and a half over the time limit. Oil pressure issues. Bearing issues, Turbo issues (if applicable) all to come for you my friend. Make sure you change your oil on time. If the garages serviced it and the turbo goes a week later its on them. I dont blame them not taking it in

I got a35 2020 model I’m still learning it all. How to do I know when service is due? (In how many kilometres would it show when it’s due). For example; I’ve only about 5,000km. Second service is due at intervals of? Every 6,000km or?

How do I know what oil grade was used in the petrol a200 2019? 229.52,51,71,61??? Thanks

Ask parts supplier, usually diesels take 229.52 and petrols take 229.5, but you need to double check as some new petrols also take 229.52

Hi, I loved your video! I'm from Portugal 🇵🇹 I bought my 2019 mercedes-benz A-class 180d AMG a week ago. Since the last review, it's still only done 6,000 kilometers. The maintenance suggested by mercedes is annual or 25 thousand kilometers. I think it's ridiculous to be doing the review just because a year has passed. As the car was stopped at the stand for 3 months, it only covered 6 thousand kilometers. It makes no sense to be doing the review when the limit is also 25 thousand kilometers... "Mercedes wants is money". My idea is not to get to 25,000 kilometers, but to do the review at 9,500/10,000 kilometers. Well, after having explained it to me, on my car dashboard, it is showing that there are 30 days left to carry out the review (this is because it has been a year since the last review). Doing this reset shown in the video, does this "my" message disappear? Will you stay for another year? thank you!

Boas Marco, Também estou com o mesmo problema que tu, a ultima vez que fiz a manutenção na mercedes tinha sido 24/08/2021 e agora esta me a pedir a manutenção tipo a e fiz poucos quilómetros com ele. Mas o problema é que o nível de óleo está quase no mínimo, por isso acho estranho? será que o motor está a comer óleo?

@ boas. Qual é o teu modelo? Na minha opinião se fizeste a revisão á 1 ano e não fizeste 10000 kmts, é ridiculo fazer a revisão. Vais ao KZbin e vez como retirar o aviso para a revisão. É simples, se for o mesmo que o meu, fazes com os comandos do volante . Em relação ao óleo, não é normal. Pode ser o sensor que esteja marado. Se o nível não está certo, vai ver disso a um representante! Se tiveres garantia, Mercedes com ele!

Right! The large screens should be standard in this day and age. Having a small screen like that with the expanse of glossy black plastic around it seems like a cheap out. I would rather have the normal dials like in the old A Class then and a small middle screen over 2 small screens.
