I purchased an AMG GTS 4 months back and looking at the specs and price point of this you get a lot of bang for buck considering I paid almost double for the GTS and a lot of the parts are the same i.e. engine, seats, wheels, steering wheel and drive system. Nice Car!

I used to work for Mercedes and the W204 C63 with the P30 package still remains one of my favourite cars I have ever experienced, but this new C205 AMG is rather nice but given how reasonable the prices of late model W204 are now despite the aging cockpit I would still opt for the older car with the 'old fashioned' 6.2 monster, single clutch gearbox and diff that locks up all too easily. Speaking of AMG, Thomas you should start a 'future classic' segment to your channel. Start with the SLS AMG, without any doubt the values of SLS coupe will go up in the next 5-10 years, would you cool to see your detailed approach on some not brand new cars. After the SLS see if you can get hold of Maserati 3200GT, that's another car that will slowly start to appreciate in value over the next decade, personally I don't rate them very highly as cars but it's interesting to see none the less.

hi, amazing review as usual you state that the seats are unconfortable. iam 1 90 cm and 95 kg wide shoulder frame. i am usually quite warm so the normal seats have the option of air conditioning which intrigues me, still i wonder if it has a sort of switch for the air conditioning when i am not in the car. being able to switch the air 10 minutes before getting in the car may solve the issue.... i would use it maybe twice or once a month on track, the main issue are -big frame - generally warm ( can be solved if remote conditioning is avaible ) - every day drive what would you reccomend?

Just take the normal seats that come with serial equipment for the C63, those are the normal sports seats with Dinamica on the inside and Artico on the outside. I have recommended those another C63 buyer so far and he was very very pleased with the choice afterwards.

it's perfect and has lots of pops and crackles unlike most of the cars on the list and the sound has been tuned by AMG so it will be better than the Old M cars . my good mate has a e92 and it sounds nowhere near as nice .

i dont understand why this C63S AMG still can not beat the smaller engine bmw M4 ?? the M4 is only 6 cylinders 3.0L twin turbo , 420HP ..and C63S is V8 4.0 twin turbo 510 + HP ????

But it can out run the M4. Not so much from 0 to 60 but it will eventually reel the M4 in. Plus the M4 is only 550nm of torque the C63 has a massive 700nm of torque.

The exhaust is actually quite real. However, the exhaust covering tip is not part of the equipment. It has to do with the length and the resonance of the sound. This is the best engineering solution.
