Sure there is! It's called a 300SL! Yes, it's considerably more expensive, but it has a real engine, and not the mix master motor that comes with the 190. My friend's Father bought a 190 new, I think a 1957. In 3-4 years it had major perforation in most of the fenders, and I mean huge holes, not surface rust!

When you restore the car like this do you use the same engine which came with the car or do you put a 2022 engine which gives better mileage and performance

Hello sir, we aim to restore according to "matching numbers" regulations. This means we always restore / overwork the original engine. Some cars have a replaced engine already, which means we can only restore the replacement. We hope this helped? Warmest regards from Germany Michelle
