The ultimate sleeper and the last year this setup wasn't an AMG. In current form it's the C43 and I actually drive a 2016 C450 that gets AMG badging. With an ECU tune down pipe and armytrix exhaust the car is making 500hp on pump gas. All total with car and mods I've invested $40k so would recommend to anyone not wanting to pony up top dollar for a full blown AMG. Another great video!!!

@@CashflowConfidentials not sure what you mean about cost in service? If you're asking is regular servicing of the car expensive then not worse than any other high end luxury car. I have a close friend that is a Mercedes certified technician and owns his own shop which includes the extremely expensive computers diagnostic equipment that dealerships have without the hassle of the dealership. Anyone who's ever owned a car ever has a story about a dealership I'm sure. So in that sense I may have a little bit of an advantage on servicing the vehicle. Like I said the $40k I have invested is including the cost of the vehicle which I bought 2 1/2yrs ago. Paid $35k cash for the car and about $5k in aftermarket parts to make the 500hp at the wheels. Like I said it's not the C63 but because of that you're not paying top dollar for that AMG badge. I'm happy with the car and have logged 25k miles myself without any problems besides putting a new battery in it. Hope that answers your question.

"poor mans c63s" With all the upgrades/ecu tune etc it's probably as expensive as a c63s? What do you think about the new c43? Really thinking about to get one, to replace my w204.

+csniper No, this is still quite a bit cheaper than a C63s. We drove the E43 and really liked it. Didn't drive the C43 yet!

Like they said, 100 hp from a tune then 50 from other work. Jb4 it, I see them as the best at the moment but I still have 55,000 miles of warranty to figure it out. Still looking at brakes, because I bet you can just upgrade the pads

almost everything I like about this car, only one thing that worries me, is reliability. ok, they mapped engine different and put the larger turbo chargers, but other components are standard. the question is whether such a reserve mercedes left in the quality of some engine parts that are most exposed to stress.
