Great review and I look forward to the head to head. Also great news the new RS6 will he coming to the states. So now my choice is hard its RS5 or RS6. I would throw the Taycan in their but its alot more and is already sold out for the first year.

Thanks! It'll be my first head to head so take it easy on me 😄 The RS5 and RS6 are two different animals IMO. If I could afford it, I would go RS6 (maybe wait for the performance variant) because I don't think you need another car after that.

One thing to point out when it comes to steering, it's electronic steering so when you're driving around town it's loose, but hardens the harder you push it. It's really quite impressive.

a Typical BMW fan reviewing and AMG !!! i test drove both cars and the one that REALLY made feel old is the M340. every time you START the C43, you smile hearing that amazing soundtrack ! oh and yeah BMW is more expensive :)

I have the 2017 amg c43 1st one that came out after awhile . 67k msrp 88k out the door with some interest n warranty. Anyways they gave me a free ticket to laguna Seca to drive their cars. From amg cla45 up to their monster amg gt. The only cars that i didnt get to drive n were there was their amg sls , amg g wagon ,4 door amg gt. I guess its for show only .My amg c43 sits right in the middle of the pack .perfectly built to what it can do.Same feeling as other amgs!! My car definitely doesn't feel short from being one. I kinda regret buying it because people say its not a real amg bc it doesnt have the hand built engine . I really fell in love with my amg c43 when I test drove it at the dealership n turned on the exhaust switch. Big difference. Just waiting for my warranty to expire then I'll probably tune it n pretty much smoke everyone . He he he c ya suckas. Took it to the 1/8 mile drag race in San diego too stock. Smoked some m2s wrx srts Even the tesla 3 I guess hahaha. The closest race I had was with an audi tt got me from the start but caught up.I wanted to race a gtr but he blew up his motor. Lucky me whew! I probably wouldve kept up with that If I had a tune. my c43 has a really big potential. N it's not just a sports car it's a Mercedes too with a switch of a button . 16k miles tires up front balled already 7/32 in the back still.changed it to 4 dw06 from original ssr 5 continental. So far it feels the same as when I first bought it. See how far the tires will last this time.

@@jordanroberts7931 probably gonna keep her for as long as I can ... it's my 1st mercedes got the extended warranty so whatever needs to break needs to break now haha ... Hopefully she will last.. i pay 300 -500 for maintenance once a year.. Just did the fuel injection flush with it and recommended me to replace the rear brake pads at 20k miles! Hoping if I keep up with these she will last...wife loves it too so maybe I'll give it to her. I think the model pacticularly the c class 43 2017 could be a collector's car. Since it's the 1st one that came out after the original 43amg and mine is one of the 1st ones the came in the dealership. Didnt have the amg badge on the engine cover n wheels are plain color alloy. Just looks perfect with black exterior n amg seats with package 4 options. .it has that pilot assist. You'll love it in traffic ..it pretty much drives for u. All im missing is the amg steering wheel n the heads up display.. with the new ones now this will cost u more than 70k .I think i remember driving the old c43 amg in gran turismo 1 or 2 haha ..oh yeah I dont mind buying used especially mercedes or BMW!! Its just some people around me that likes everything brand new lol...u know the saying "there's nothing like a brand new car"

Another superb vid- many thanks. The lighting and fog at 9:03 has great cinematic effect. As for the car- a six cylinder, even with turbo's is underwhelming. The V8 in the C63 is probable cause for a felony- just glorious. From personal experience, it's difficult to return those. Never did like the rectangular screen above three round vents- it looks contrived.

Okay, I'm highly upset that I just found out what this car is today. I was on the ride home and I have a 2015 Audi S5 manual. I pull up on this car from the rear and it's something I've never seen before, so then I'll pull up next to him I dropped to fourth gear to let him hear the engine and then he drops gears and I hear that awesome exhaust note. He wanted to run me really bad and I wanted to run him because I've never seen this car before. We went for it, but unfortunately traffic got thick ahead of us and we couldn't do anything. This car was like a mythical creature. He took his exit then I took mine. It's sad we couldn't get a true run in. Maybe again someday

Thanks man! The M340i is slightly cheaper at $54K MSRP whereas the C43 AMG starts somewhere like $55.2K MSRP. RS3 would be a great contender even though it's technically in a slightly more compact segment.

The Audi RS3 is a hatchback and competes with the likes of the Golf GTI, M140 and AMG A45. The Audi RS4 is a direct competitor to the C and 3 series.

My wife has a c43 AMG I did downpipes and x pipe and tune plus drop in filters it's dyno number was 455 awd wheel horsepower. That at a 20 percent driveline lose is 500 hp. I live in New England a c63 with it rwd is out of the question for my wife. We have owned the car for 2 years and absolutely love it a am a huge Benz guy though. I've tried all other German brands and Mercedes is just the must reliable in the long run. I know most people lease these types of cars so they don't see the breakdowns that come in the long run.

D Lugo I have the 2017 GLC43 AMG suv With Renntech tune. I took out E63s on the highway from Los Angeles to Phoenix. From 80 mph he hunked and I passed him at 125mph till 150 where we both left off. I had him by 2 cars. That was a roll and from a dig I clocked 3.4 seconds to 60 mph. I haven’t done a quarter mile yet. The engine is bulletproof and I drive it fast daily! No regrets for not getting the GLC63s.

This was suppose to be a AMG sport but MB decides to call the 43s AMGs as well. Just a marketing move. Same thing happened with Cadillac on their CT5V and CT4V. I would be nice to have a both the C63 and this C43 together for comparison reasons.

Congrats on the purchase! You can't go wrong with that color, it's beautiful. To clarify, it's not slow for it's segment. It's only bested by the M340i by a little. When I criticize it for being slow at the end of the video, it was more of a behind the scenes conversation with my wife and it's only because I am used to driving much faster cars way out of it's segment.

Thanks! Sadly I don't have the luxury of press cars yet. This was a privately owned vehicle. As for the 14 second estimate, it's for 60-130 time which can vary greatly from a quarter mile time. That estimate is just a guess based on the M340iX's 13.45 sec 60-130.

I have the 2017 amg c43 1st one that came out after awhile . 67k msrp 88k out the door with some interest n warranty. Anyways they gave me a free ticket to laguna Seca to drive their cars. From amg cla45 up to their monster amg gt. The only cars that i didnt get to drive n were there was their amg sls , amg g wagon ,4 door amg gt. I guess its for show only .My amg c43 sits right in the middle of the pack .perfectly built to what it can do.Same feeling as other amgs!! My car definitely doesn't feel short from being one. I kinda regret buying it because people say its not a real amg bc it doesnt have the hand built engine . I really fell in love with my amg c43 when I test drove it at dealership n turned on the exhaust switch. Big difference. Just waiting for my warranty to expire then I'll probably tune it n pretty much smoke everyone . He he he c ya suckas. Took it to the 1/8 mile drag race in San diego too stock n went 10 out 10 smoked some m2s wrx srts camaros mustangs. Even the cheap tesla I guess hahaha. The closest race I had was with an audi tt got me from the start but caught up.I wanted to race a gtr but he blew up his motor. Lucky me whew! I probably wouldve kept up with that If I had a tune. my c43 has a really big potential. N it's not just a sports car it's a Mercedes too with a switch of a button . 16k miles tires up front balled already 7/13 in the back still.changed it to 4 dw06 from original ssr 5 continental. So far it feels the same as when I first bought it. See how far the tires will last this time.

Oh shit just in time! Damn very nice matte grey. I love that on the C AMGs Sounds pretty nice! And that automatic is EXTREMELY fast. The new exhaust system is much better than the C450 we got back in 2014 Your first AMG. I’m glad you started small man! The new tail tips are very cool. They are much different than the old style we had in 2017 and I love that look I see you talked about the digital dash options and steering wheel digital options I mentioned yes! My idea made your vid. I mean, wasn’t the C43 also my idea? And yeah the C class interiors are garbage. It looks terrible. They definitely cheaped out in the interior. That steering wheel has those silver accents available in gloss black on the 63 AMGs, and it looks amazing. The exhaust valve button is fun to toggle off and on too! Yeah I like the coupe the most. The sunroof mechanism is pretty cool but it does have its flaws. The C43 and 63 use bilstein racing struts and springs, minimizing body roll tremendously. The suspension is active, adjusting to lateral inertia to keep the car from leaning in a high speed turn. The HUD is very cool and it’s awesome to see how many settings it has The paddles are pretty cool actually, but I wish they felt a bit smoother when you hit them Weird. Fuel cutoff at only 6,200?! Oh yes I’ve encountered this on a GLE 43. I was going pretty damn fast and it cut off the fuel on me. The upshift indicator comes in way too late Let’s see the list. 8.07 that’s not bad at all! Wow. But this just shows that the in-line 6 is a better motor than the V6, which is why you are seeing Benz go towards the in-line 6 and away from the V6 An additional segment? Alright let’s see it That’s pretty interesting how it drives raw actually. It is going to be expensive because it is a Benz. That’s like how a Porsche Boxster S is $100k but it’s the lowest model Porsche, and also the interior well, you know Porsche’s interiors Slow as balls lmfao Oof Mazda’s are uh, LMAO I don’t want your wife to read this and get mad 😂 Anyways man there’s my essay. Wonderful episode. I’m glad you got to start with a entry level AMG as your first one, and I’m glad you weren’t too disappointed with the car. It is surprising the numbers it put up on the fast list. I think next, maybe you should look into testing the E53 AMG Coupé, with a Single Turbo Inline 6. Brand new. Gorgeous interior and aggressive and sleek exterior. The back window is tiny af. I’d drive that before you go for a C63. You’ll wanna work your way up with AMG. Trust me, the E53 would make for a GREAT video I can promise you that

Yeah this matte grey and yellow caliper combo has really made me a believer. I used to think it was silly but in person, it's nice. My next AMG is either going to be the CLA45 which everyone seems to hate or the C63S which is something I'd probably buy. The old style was nice, and I thought it was understated classy, but these big round tips make the car look like it means business. You're my insider source for Mercedes info 😄 The paddles aren't the best thing I've driven, but they are the best in this class of car by far. Way better than Audi and BMW. Yeah the fuel cut off is so early, it bugs me. Because it shows the red line at 6500RPM but it actually cuts power in manual mode at 6200 RPM so if you're not ready, you'll lose the race. Raw is subjective though. I'm trying to keep it relative to the segment. The Alfa 4C was so far probably the most "raw" car I've driven. Lol, my wife won't be mad, this was our first and LAST Mazda we will ever buy. Don't worry. Curious about the new 53 line of AMGs. Those look pretty nifty so if I can find one, I'll definitely review it. Thanks for the comment bro, always look forward to reading these!

They have that rhombus shaped exhaust ends That fuel cutoff is gay af tbh idk why it is so early! 4C with a blown strut, pretty raw if you ask me lmao Yeah don’t buy another mazda. They’re garbage Yeah man get your hands on a E53 coupe or a CLS 53. Even a GT53 if possible. They’re really cool cars!
