you don't have to charge the car if you don't want to, you can also drive in hybrid mode ;)

@@Sureme440 310 miles on the combustion engine itself with a discharged battery...During the weekend test over a total distance of 500 km, base fuel consumption was 5.5 l/100 km and energy was 2.8 kWh/100 km. According to the calculations of the on-board computer, 120 km from this distance the Mercedes CLA 250e will appear in the zero-emission direction. With a full tank, you can count on driving around 550 km, including an all-electric range of 50 km.

Best in hybrid sport mode, yes, not a sports car, but plenty of response there to overtake etc. In electric mode only the acceleration is not so quick, ok for around town. Petrol only is quicker than electric only.

@Jeff Hughes I've got the 250e and always use either electric only or comfort. I never use sport but am intrigued, what does the car do on sport hybrid mode? How does it give the power?

Panie Adamie nie robiłem testu pod kątem spalania niestety. Z tego co pamiętam to spalanie oscylowało w granicach 7L/100km, ale przy prędkościach v-max, więc na prawdę dobry wynik. Jeśli chodzi o spokojną jazdę, to hybrydy o tej bryle aerodynamicznej są bardzo oszczędne i potrafią spalić na poziomie silników diesla w trybie „ hybryda” 5L/100 km ( benzyna + elektryk )
