I had the resonators and secondary muffler deleted from my Mercedes Benz CLS550. Here is the before and after video. If you want another video with my current mods let me know.

Hey Xedout23, you helped me out with the illuminated star, and I just saw you got the Weistec tune on your 2013 CLS 550. Did you get the 540 HP ECU tune? And have you had any reliability issues/problems once you got it? I'm thinking of going with Weistec instead of Renntech next week.

Thanks! Will be getting mine done next week. How many miles do you have on yours now after the ECU tune? Also, check out the upgraded air filter they have, they claim up to 10-20 hp more just from that.

For those that have done this, what is the long term observences? Any random CEL’s? what is the loss of MPG’s? Loud drone in the cabin on road trips? Would love to hear some negatives, we all know the sound is a positive but the engineers do things for a reason.

@@Kellionaire exactly. I would expect increased horsepower and better MPG cuz you're freeing up the exhaust to flow and breathe better. Headers back straight pipe and air intake would be ideal for that

Thanks what year is yours? The guys at Renntech said they would need to program an ECU bypass to stop the check engine light while they did my tune if I was going to delete my resonators on my 2013 CLS550

I also saw you have the LED emblem. Did you install it yourself, and was it hard? Does it go on the 2014 just as easy as the tutorials show? Dealership wants to charge me $550 to do it.

So all you did was twist the old emblem out, and run the fuze box wire and ground wire, right? No need to take the front facia off? I'll probably buy the kit you linked in the description off amazon. Appreciate the help/tips.

xedout23 thanks for the info... I have an x pipe rear res delete and flow master mufflers on mine... I am thinking of doing the straight pipe and front res delete when I upgrade the downpipes(off road cats) and possibly do the AMS alpha tune.
