Great video! We had the same car for around half a year now, put in around 6000 km (around 4500 miles) and our avarage fuel consumption is at 0.6l/100km which is 470 uk mpg, we have solar panels installed so our electricity bill is basically 0. For the right buyer this car is just perfect. It does 30 km in ev mode in -10 C in Sweden on icy roads now during the winter but when it was summer 50 km is very doable as long as you do it in the city.

how is the bootspace?
@mariodukay20692 жыл бұрын
@@_erik_ it's robbed but completely usable, we have a combi so it's not that bad, I reckon a sedan would be much more compromised

@@mariodukay2069 How small would you approximate it to be? My brother and I play hockey so when we go to games we are often 3 players with equipment do you think that would fit? Or when you go on holiday, can you bring enough baggage?

@@_erik_ we have two kia ceed sw, they have a cargo capacity of 530L and 1645L with the seats down, the merc has 480L with the seats up and 1660 with the seats down, we have been to Stockholm with the car with 5 ppl and everyones luggage did fit. If you are only 3 ppl then all your hockey equipment will fit easily especially if you fold down one seat. The only obstruction is that when you fold down the seats you can't fit furniture so well because the battery is in the way for taller items. If you are like us and would never put furniture in a car but just tow a trailer then you are good to go. Also it can pull 2.1 tons which helps

I enjoyed watching the Video Review. The styling has Improved as has the Interior

You didn't say if this was on air suspension or standard. This makes a big difference in my experience. That hump in the boot wipes out the point of buying a big estate.

If you buy saloon you'll have even less boot space.

What happens to the power output once the battery is fully depleted? Guess it wouldn’t be 320hp 🤔

The Hump negates the whole point of an estate car.

My Village how weird.

That battery hump rather obviates the purpose of having an estate, since it completely compromises the loadspace and versality, especially with the rear seats folded down. And with only half the EV range of the GLE EV, why would you bother?

Agreed, I have the E220d estate . Massive boot space, same interior and I get 50 mpg doing just under 80 on a run. Slightly less in the winter. It’s a great car but if you are going to do a hybrid it needs to do more. If it did 50 miles on electric and improved the overall mpg to say 100 I’d certainly buy one, even with the compromised boot space.

@@coffeeman2079 Interesting. I have the E250 CDI estate, as I need the huge cargo capacity and flat load bed. 46mpg average, up to 64mpg on a long run and a 600 mile range. Love it.
@coffeeman20792 жыл бұрын
@@long_view 64mpg on a run is really good economy. I guess I might get that on a nice summers day driving at 70 on a motorway. But you have to have a little fun in Sports mode every now and then 😀

@@coffeeman2079 Completely agree - why else would they put the S/E button and paddle shifters on a diesel!
