It's normal. The car is stopped so a boost is not needed. At this point the turbo is only being regulated to the atmospheric pressure.

Yes, this is expected behavior. Some will say that it needs to move faster and it's not because of weak vacuum pressure - but have no idea if that's right or not.

Marius Lucian NEAG to test it you need to order it to move with some diagnostic equipment, checking the boost pressure etc OR you can just feed the vacuum directly and check if the boost regulator valve moves fast.

Hi Luxian. I have a question about an intake manifold from my W210 e270cdi. I want to remove the swirl flaps from the intake,and deactivate the servomotor on the intake.I know how to do this. The question is,after removing the swirl flaps do I have to keep the holes from intake open or can I plug them and close the holes before replacing the intake. Thnx so far. If you can answer my question or any advice I would like to hear it from you

Wszystko jest ok.Łopatki są otwarte na maxa przy wolnych obrotach.Podczas doładowania zmienia się kąt łopatek sterowane przez CPU i modulator.Cykanie to brak oleju po uruchomieniu auta w kanałach olejowych.

What is that ticking noise at startup(12 sec.)?

I don’t know and I don’t remember. This was a cold start if I remember correctly. That sound can come from a lot of places. But because it goes away soon after, I don’t think it was something to worry. I would suspect something on the accessory belt. The alternator gave up few months later, maybe that was a sign of it going bad, but i’m speculating now. Maybe someone smarter figures it out. I’m curious to see what else could it be.

it's the lifters, my e270 does it too after sitting overnight - I tried some lifter additive and it stopped it for a week

Enxhi Koraqe check you vacuum lines and electro-valves that control the vacuum to EGR and turbo (hope I remember correctly)

@@bernardmlotkiewicz9892 Yes it was exactly the vacuum line problem. A small rat cutted the vacuum pipe and didnt had boost on the EGR valve

You have to use the diagnostic tool to see what error codes you get.
