Good clear video. I want to congratulate you for the correct use of the click type torque wrench. I have seen way too many professionals tighten every bolt with the torque wrench set correctly only to make it click 3 or 4 times. ONE click, folks, ONE click!

Hi Thank you for clear instructions which helped me change my e350 battery myself but unfortunately after replacement i think just because the battery is from different brand the positive and negative points are positioned different due to that i am not able to battery cover. Can you please advise if it impacts vehicle in any way because i can see two open vents now which i am concerned if they will cause any damage to vehicle in any way ?

Hi - Thanks for watching! Looks like the battery is not correct for the vehicle. We can only recommend that the correct battery be installed. The replacement battery will come with one of the vent ports plugged and can be moved to the other port after the vent tube has been installed if necessary.

I have a W212 E220 and am sure I've read there will be problems with accessories/ Systems etc, My e class wouldn't go into drive on Christmas eve, due low volts, i managed to get home ok though. and need to replace the battery

At 00:53, you remove the battery cover, which part also plays a part in keeping air and other dust out of the cabin. What is the name of this part? I can’t find it under battery cover. My mechanic lost it after they made repairs on my car, then let battery die, and had to recharge it for me to leave. Please help.

The manufacturer's step-by-step instructions shown in the beginning of the video names the part as "Housing" but we think a better description might be something like fresh air inlet and filter assembly. A call to your local Mercedes dealer's parts department might help. They will know what the part's name is and can probably order a replacement for you.

AAA Battery tech our database says this vehicle doesn't require a reset or a KAM (Keep Alive Memory) unit, although the vehicle may loose certain presets. Be sure to use an AGM VRLA battery as replqcement.
