Mercedes Benz e55 AMG W211 Headlight Lense Replacement

I have a 2008 w211 and just finished doing this to my headlights yesterday. It's amazing to see the differences a couple of years makes in these components. Some of the parts are very different. If you don't like the oven Idea, I used a heat gun. It worked well.

Well done. It appears it's alot of work and time. I have an E500 that I have wet sanded and polished. Looks much better than before, but not near as good as I would like. Someday if I get industrious I may do what you have done. Thanks for the detailed video..

VERY clean E55! Nice! I have a black '06 E55 but mine needs some love, go figure the first thing I want to improve on is the hazy headlight lenses...

@chesar32 - Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the video. The wheels are 20" Vossen CV-3s. IMO, they are the PERFECT wheel for this car.

My e55 s headlights are not that bright...the plastic lenses look good...I don't know what to change

@tooththrhr - have you checked the alignment of the headlights? Also, is your voltage in the car good?

@@PrecisionMike voltage is fine. I haven't done the adjustment . It's through the scan tool?

@@tooththrhr - No, there are adjustment screws in the headlights that you can access when the hood is open
