The model is eCitaro. It’s a pure e vehicle. So - never

Tbh i don´t think this will go anywhere, you need hydrogen infrastructure (or the cost of driving somewhere to fuel the bus) and the charging infrastructure like any other electric bus. Just to get a little bit of extra range, the fully equipped eCitaro with 6 NMC3 packs, already gets you to 275km. But this is a very conservative estimate by Daimler. By own experience we manage between 400 and 500km with those buses, in winter still 300 to 350km. So what´s the point of having this complicated hybrid version?

You might be right. And the price is rocket high as well. Not a great combo. I like this idea, but as you say, infrastructure needs to come first!

Looks quite nice, but I think the new Alexander-Dennis Enviro200/400/500 is a fair bit better, not in terms of vehicle exterior but the interior is much better & you can order them with huge coach-spec seats which I don't think Daimler offers on their non-Setra brand coaches.

Interesting! Maybe we should come to the UK and do something about Alexander Dennis soon. We haven’t done much UK stuff. They need to invite us over. Just a short flight 😁

Too bad, there were no representatives of the bus brands in question with the other bus-test. Now you were unable to tell us about any experiences, both positive and negative. Were you allowed to test the bus alone, without Mercedes personnel present? But having said that it is a nice bus.

If you have seen the video, there is even two representatives talking about the bus. Normally we’re doing it ourselves, but in exactly this video, we had representatives 😂

hei Tom og kollegaen din, jeg synes E-Citaro er veldig bra og stillegående. Jeg var i København i mai og tilfeldigvis hadde vi en E-Citaro, men vi måtte være forsiktige når vi akselererte, jeg vil anbefale deg å dra. rundt 2 for å kjøpe en buss-sumilator, kan du også kjøpe den e-citaroen der, som også er like kul og den samme som den egentlig er, med vennlig hilsen fra Wietze Braem fra Adinkerke, Belgia
