This is the worst vehicle comparison I have ever seen. You obviously did not do your research on ether vehicle especially the Lexus. The silly hooks you keep referring to are for a cargo net. If you actually knew luxury vehicles, practically all of them come with one. The Lexus does not have as much cargo storage because it comes with a full size spare vs the Benz only has a pump and solution to fill a flat but your out of luck if you get a blowout! NOT because of the hybrid battery. The battery is actually located underneath the rear seats. The seating space is limited when you hopped in because "ease of entry/exit" is turned on which moves the seat fully back and steering wheel out of the way to allow the drive greater ease of entering or exiting the vehicle. I've worked at both Lexus and Mercedes and you are not doing ether brand name any good with this garbage comparison. I can only rant about the beginning because I couldn't get through the rest of the lies you are telling from lack of knowledge.

Yep and what’s with the 100k quote you keep telling everyone about the Lexus? The top of the line RX 450h MSRP is about 60k (Invoice at 54k). So you’re compare a 60k to a 100k car??

I left Lexus for BMW and I love my BMW but I have to say I am beginning to see some of the advantages of SUV's and The Lexus RX seems to own this space.

I have seen another reveiw showing this same Lexus having more space than its German rivals. At the end of the day it depends on the sitting position set compared to the front seats. But for sure the Lexus is more comfortable and exhumes more Luxury than the Merc and would be choice instantly. Nice comparison though

the batterys take space, they placed them under the rear seats, this is why you will have slightly less space on rear seats.

Both are way overpriced. I was in a small SUV market until few days ago and tried most of them, ended with 2016 sx4, 4x4, diesel. Price was just to good and sx4 is no bad car. No one has 4x4, diesel car even close to that price, Duster a side.

Please don't compare a midsize luxury suv (rx, GLE) to a small crossover car. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean it's overpriced. The RX is a car you can own for the rest of your life.

Merc GLE AMG sounds better and feel better to drive Merc. Lexus is also nice, but its futuristic design makes it look outdate so quick. European cars are best :)

I own an MX-5. The white Avensis was a test car. I told my parents to buy a Tiguan. The have Mk1 FL, and are very pleased with it. The new Tiguan IMO is not as good. Or maybe the competition pulled their act together. If you can find Mk1 Tiguan - take it!

Annoyingly Mercedes always package seat memory in 'Premium' or 'Premium Plus' packages - it's standard on the X5/RX/XC90 so god knows why Mercedes insist on charging extra (I think Audi might do the same on the Q7...or at least they used to)

Idk why, but no matter how hard LEXUS works, the overall appearance/design on the interior and exterior looks cheap. Although the stats are great for LEXUS, asian cars can never beat the luxurious brand of Benz.

w zwiazku z wpadkami mercedesa i traktowaniem klientow zdecydowalem sie na lexusa. Niemieckie auta juz nie są takie jak kiedyś. W bmw i oplu spotkalem sie kilka razy z silnikami, co byly wymieniane na gwarancji, mercedes... szkoda słów, sprawdzcie sami na necie co ostatnio dzieje sie z AMG za milion złotych. Moze i lex nie jest tak wypasiony w nowoczesnosc, ale przynajemniej niezawodny, a to na dzisiaj dla mnie jest najwazniejsze. Poza tym, kto spróbuje japonii, to nie bedzie chcial innego samochodu.

I'm sure it depends on the market, but generally speaking cars lose about 40-50% of their value within 5 years. That being said, with the current shortage of new cars, used cars tend to hold up their value much better, than they used to before the pandemic.

The Mercedes was better than the Lexus in almost every way. That navigation screen was too small and stretched out in the Lexus. It wasn't nearly as elegant. And it looked more like a sports car than a luxury car. What's funny is they call Lexus the "Mercedes of Japan" 😂
