Mercedes Benz Keyless Entry - Security Tips & Tricks

There’s been a lot of bad press in the media at the moment surrounding the safety and security of keyless go vehicles however in this video we’re going to show you a few tips and tricks on how to fully utilize the potential of this fantastic feature.
Tip for the day… have a little bit of a think about where you're keeping your key, are you keeping it right behind the door or on a hook? Or are you keeping it in the kitchen? You want to try and get that key as far away from the car as possible to reduce the risk of someone piggybacking off it.

Hi, I’ve just bought a E Class AMG line 2019, I’ve setup easy entry but it’s not working when I enter the car. Also, I can’t find blind spot assist, I’ve looked in assist there’s no options there, any advice will be appreciated

double click to disable the keyless entry is only rarely working for me -- I'm standing next to the car and press this button twice and then try to open the door by touch only and it opens! help! Is there some special rhythm to press the button?

Hold lock button for 5 seconds and it will give it a click then check it should work mine was accidentally deactivated after hitting the lock button twice 😊

Dear. I'm w205 c180 Model 2015 My issue on windows not closed after double or long press. As you know there is key onside the car if i press all windows i will close for Air conditions no problem. But why if I'm out and press double click or long time the windows not closed automatically only all door closed can you please help for that maybe i don't have that option what should i do to make sure if i have or not that option or maybe i have the option but locked software or hardware i need your help for that

The tip I want is, how to permanently stop your remote fob sending out a signal unless you press a button.

The answer will be the technician at your MB dealership will have to speak with his/her counterpart in Germany who will talk them through doing this.

With the touch the door handle feature to lock the doors, does the key have to be in your other hand or can it be in your pocket or bag which is with you?

@@martinafghahi No u have to be very close for keyless go to activate, 10 feet is too far away! But yes they can wait until ur close enough , hit u in your head and open your car and start it and drive off ! But again that can happen even with a skeleton key! it called CAR JACKING!

With keyless feature anyone can enter your mercedes car without key even if you lock you door while your key is near your car .I mean anyone without any permission. !!! lock door is not exist at all.!!!!!

Tbh the keyless go is the most terrible thing invented and totally unnecessary on cars. So many cars have been stolen by it. It's good Mercedes at least allows a way to disable it.

This UK Guy is ....NOT the Sharpest knife in the drawer ... shows how to deactivate, but doesn’t mention how to reactivate! Why would anyone ... not think about a YT video ... before posting.. and then FAIL to follow up the questions people ask!

You can reactivate this feature by double tapping the lock button on your key. We hope this helps!

I cannot think of a much worse "feature" to put on a car. Are people really to lazy these days to push a button on a key fob? Car thieves absolutely love the "feature". I wonder why. It is getting increasingly difficult and expensive to insure cars with this ridiculous "feature" too

if u don’t know the feeling when u are in a rush and u cannot find ur keys in a purse don’t even say a word

@@fandy218 If you know your keys are in your purse and you cannot find them, You have a real problem. If you cannot find your keys in the house you cannot drive the car anyway. If you are in that much of a rush, you could also be a danger driving. Make sure you have enough time,,,,,
