Great find, I've recently become obsessed with this car. Was looking at SLKs online and I saw a white 2010 SLK 300 for sale not far from me going for £9k and the mileage wasn't too bad either. Was really tempted to go and test drive it but I'm out of work so it didn't really feel right changing car right now. It's been sold and part of me is regretting it. Oh well by the time I return to work hopefully another one will pop up...

Thank you for your reply Villager Number 9 and I am sorry to hear you are out of work.. something I have experienced myself once or twice in my career. In the words of Winston Churchill: "If you find yourself going through hell, keep going." As for the SLK that got away, I know that another will come along as they are a very popular car to have for a summer season or two. Wishing you the best of luck and happy driving in the meantime.

Pretty car and the roof is wonderful. In terms of build quality, it's nothing like an SL.

Was looking at a 280 with a manual gearbox recently, that would be a interesting car..as I'm not a big fan of automatic sports cars, but yours is in great condition good buy mate...

I hear you on the automatics Daniel.. from the point of view of reliability (especially in early models of SLK) and in terms of that lag when you floor it off the line and the pick up doesn't live up to that Murray Walker voice in your head as the traffic lights change green! lol. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.. really appreciated!
