I own a 2013 C300 Sport 4matic with C63 AMG trim package. V6 3.5L with the 7 speed transmission. I absolutely love this car thru and thru. It's the best handling with the Sport tune suspension coupled with the all wheel drive which gives the 3.5L motor more ease and less abuse for showing and feeling the power and acceleration. The feedback from the road to car to driver is very well communicated, very predictable which makes it so much fun to drive but also easy to get into trouble with those poor lovers with the red and blue lights, lol! Ask me how I know but anyways. The exterior I think is sexy, elegant, sporty and means business all in one. The front end I think of the old roadsters which flows to the tucking of the front tires. The elegance of the fine lines of the body thru to the back of the car. It's like the engineers that designed and built this W204 C-class put everything they had plus more into this car. Seems like in today's vehicles all the thought is in the front end and down the side, but when it comes to the back end they just give up and slap something together. Same with some of these interior designs, just plain, boring and big ass touch screen monitors. Big isn't always better. When you sit behind the wheel of a W204 C-class like my model, you can feel yourself become 1 with the car. It's like the car and yourself are extentions of each other. Much respect to all those involved in the creation to final product of the 2008-2014 Mercedes-Benz C-class models. Other manufacturers could take some lessons from those true engineers of craftsmanship.

Hi Kon. I own a 2012/2013 W204 c250. Bought it brand new and so far i changed the ABS sensor cables twice on all 4 corners (one of its achilles heel). Mileage is less than 60K because the tyres are too low profile and I only take it on the outstation drive. I wanted to change the tyres to a higher profile so that I can use it more often but I also prefer my Subaru 4WD on KL roads. My mechanic told me there is also the inherent camshaft sprocket early wear which trustgtr33 mentioned. Love the car & thanks for the review.

Glad to hear your testimonial. Sensors are normal wear and tear items for most European cars. As for the camshaft sprocket issue, it seems like a sufficiently well-documented issue that any prospective owners should address with preventive maintenance.

Very nice review of the w204 range, your knowledge of these vehicles impressed me, for example many reviewers of these cars are unaware that the c204 and c207 are basically the same car and share not only the platform/engines but many other parts. I agree with your assessment of the build quality of the w204 especially the facelift version, the interior finish is outstanding and as you mentioned the action of the auto gear selector feels like the bolt action of a quality rifle. I have owned the S204 Kompressor 2009 model and now have a 2014 C204 250cgi both great build quality but the C204 interior is a serious step up. I have driven several W205/S205 and C205 cars both diesel, hybrid and petrol version's and although they drive well the same build quality just isn't there especially when it comes to the interior finish and the fact so many body panels on the 205 version are aluminum you don't get that same vault door thud when closing the doors or boot for example. I am very pleased with my C204 and plan to keep it for several years still, having only covered 55000km so far it's just about broken in.

As my everyday car, i can say what you say about the exterior looks is spot on but when you start saying it is a painless use thats where you got it way wrong. All car has issues even with by the book servicing there are still things in the car that will give you headache and pain. Note that this is not the car for the budget conscious but it is better and cheaper premium car than all the modern day Mercs.
@KonWaiLuen16 күн бұрын
Curious what engine variant are you having? When I say painless, I of course don't mean the car won't break down, or have no wear & tear, but rather that the W204 is such a mature and common product that parts are aplenty and most faults are known and easily diagnosed. Then again, tapping on your experience, do share if you have encountered any particularly complicated or expensive fixes that you've had to face on your car
@RiemsAI16 күн бұрын
@@KonWaiLuen I think the most annoying are the wheel sensors. Tends to breakdown every 1 to 2 years. When it breaks all the safety system in the car will fail too like ABS etc. Cost about RM2K to replace.
