@@DignitasCars no. Pre-face. Was young and needed cash :-( . In my life had different cars, like C30 AMG, but also BMW E36 328i, E60 535d, E46 330i, etc.... C30, gave me easily the biggest smile on my face.

Is there any difference in the suspension? Does the facelift model handle better than the pre-facelift? I know that at least in the normal model, the handling was improved drastically with the facelift 😄

It is a nice car, but what might be a surprise, it wasn't the ONLY diesel made by AMG. There was a OM617 made by them in MB100D. It was called MB100 D AMG 3.0 as far as I remember.

Hmm, these are interesting cars. I'm glad AMG made it, a lot of people diss on these like why would AMG make a diesel sports car. Diesels are more powerful then petrol motors. Sure they aren't loud and exciting but in their own respects they have a lot more muscle with all the torque and that's all a great driving characteristic, particularly when cruising on the open road at high speeds they're much faster then gas motors. I have a 2006 E320 CDI and it's really fast, out on the open roads the inline 6 is a much faster motor then V8. They're just too big to keep up in the long haul when the 6 is the right size motor capable of producing power continuously. Nowadays diesel have won out, in both the new audi S4 and the Mercedes E AMG they're using diesels because diesels make more power. Both of them are 3 liter diesel with 380hp and like 600ft/lbs of torque or more.

C30 rules! Vielen Dank für das Video! Ich habe quasi den Nachfolger, einen gechippten CLK320 CDI OM642 mit LLK upgrade. Habe beide Videos mal übereinandergelegt. Nehmen sich beide fast gar nichts, obwohl der C30 Serie ist! Ab 200 geht der CLK dann aber deutlich besser vorwärts und nimmt dem C30 einige Sekunden ab. Bei 260 CLK hat der C30 gerade erst 250 auf der Uhr. Für Serienleistung ist ein C30 einfach der Hammer! Habe andere C30 aber auch mit über 20 sek 0-200 gesehen. LG aus Berlin

Bitte Soundvideos von außen! Fahre schon seit langem einen S211 E270 CDI Handschalter und wäre mal neugierig ob der groß anders klingt von hinten als meiner. Bei meinem hört man hinten garnichts.

Due to the high torque it accelerates faster from 80-120 kph than a Porsche 996 Turbo back in the time. So driving on twisty roads is a lot of fun when the turbo kicks in :D

Soweit ich dich verstanden habe, fragst du ob sich ein Umstieg lohnt. Ich kann nur sagen, dass die Performance deutlich besser ist, aber wenn was kaputt geht sind die Preise für Ersatzteile deutlich teurer als die für einen 270 CDI. Ich hoffe das hilft 👍😊

Fahre eigentlich einen bmw 335d mit 420ps und 900nm aber der wagen fasziniert mich bei dem Ding dpf agr off Upgrade Lader dann rennt der schnell mal 10-12 sek 100-200

Die alten 5zylinder diesel vom MB gab es nie mit dpf. Zu der Zeit gab es sowas noch nicht. ✌🏼

Hab ich auch schon überlegt, DPF hat er zum Glück keinen. 😂 Einzige Problem ist nur das Getriebe. Das hat schon Bauchschmerzen mit 540 NM. Da müsste man als erstes schauen, dass das mit dem mehr an Drehmoment zurechtkommt.

10 bis 12 Sekunden schafft er nicht mit upgrade Lader, da braucht es etwas mehr zu. Min 380 bis 400 PS im C30, eher 450 PS, wenn man von 10er Zeiten ausgeht.

Der ist nicht Serie mit dem Gewicht das sind locke rmal 1700kg fährst du mit 230 Ps keine 18er Zeiten noch dazu mit der alten Wandler Automatik.

Hatte zeitweise 2 von denen. Beide fahren immer 18.0-18.5er Zeiten. Hab in der Zwischenzeit mich über das Gewicht informiert. In den 1640 kg ist laut Richtlinie EG 92/21 ein Fahrer mit 68 kg, 7 kg Gepäck und 90% Tank inkludiert. Also ich kann dir garantieren dass der Serie ist. Nen S203 fährt 20er Zeiten, bei mehr Gewicht und schlechterem CW Wert.
