@@amjadkhan-jv6xj you apparently don’t know your cars cause that’s m271 evo engine used in w204 and c204 c-class which are the 2012-2014 c250 sedan/coupe in the US. This engine was also used in the SLK too.

My 2014 C250 did the same thing.at 81K miles . Thanks for the video. I did carefully cut off the fixed metal clamp with a dremel cut off wheel and replaced it with a screw type lined stainless steel clamp. Gentle rub with Scotchbrite green pad and a little WD-40 cleaned up the heat shield and the exhaust pipe , That hose way in back that needs the needle nose on the clamp then runs around the back of the motor sees a lot of heat and getting a little stiff so might replace in a year or two . Great video, Have same issue just that by the look of the eye you cannot see where the coolant is leaking from. Remove the engine cover, add coolant just so that there is enough coolant for the hose to fill. Start the car and let it run with the A/c on full blast. Keep checking the pipes and after about 2 mins or less you will see the coolant leaking from the hose. These hoses are cheaply made and tend to leak from the line that the mold makes when these pipes are made.

I just fix that same issue thanks for atleast pointing out the issue to begin with. I want to let people know the easiest way I did it was by disconnecting the new piece I order from amazon for like 42$ because the top didnt have a leak nor does coolant flow thru it I dont believe im a noob so I could be wrong. I mention that because the top hose on mines have one of those clamps that you have to remove with wires cutters and replace with a new clamp. So by only changing the lower one saved me time and money because trying to cut the ring broke my snips. Also when you get the new hoses they are going to be held together by that sleeve you mention I just pop it out to only use the bottom half, if I didnt do that not sure if I was gone be able to force it back down for that power steering reservoir screw. SO THANKS YO VIDEO SAVED ME MONEY ON A CAR I ONLY PURCHASED TWO MONTHS AGO. Hopefully I can help someone with the little info i provided

Wow, I had the same leak and I got it when i went to get it serviced and it was a fine slice and they replaced it for free... you gotta be careful when going to these dealerships too. My advice is to take pictures.

I've got a 2012 C250 and had a coolant leak, took it to PepBoys and was told I needed to replace the water pump. Problem is I am not sure what water pump I need. I have AutoZone tell me I need a Duralast Electrical Water Pump AWP-2526 and then I researched and found pulley driven water pumps for my cheaper. Do you know what the water pump should be for a 2012 Mercedes Benz C250 1.8L FI Turbo DOHC 4cyl? Thanks...

I kno you figure it out by now but I use some big ass vise grips I probably spelt that wrong, and then slid the clip down a little and basically wiggled and pry at it with a flat head screw driver hoping like hell that those vise grips didnt slip off or I would have been fuckd
