I'm saying Americans mostly tend to buy suv and saloons rather than estates and hatchbacks so car manufacturers save money by not selling their hatchbacks and estates in the US. I.E The Audi rs6 isn't sold in the US as well as the A45 amg

I own 2013 VW CC 4 door and stock, it kicks the BRZ's ass. With my mods (APR Stage 2, Downpipe, Intercooler, Air Filter) it just murders them.

I dont know if its true or not, i just want to say that a opel corsa from 2012 (?) compared to a Golf from 2012 feels absolutely cheap. The Golf is just build way better even if it uses palstic here and there, its just on another level. And honestly, because of that experience, im not anyone that would bat an eye over some good plastic if its well put together. That being said, i really dont believe a Golf R will be better than basically any mercedes.

Why? for this money you get a very fast and luxurious german sedan. mercedes doesnt only spend effort in making cars high quality, but safe too. a lot of of the price is caused by the huge amount passive and active safety features like intelligent lightweight built. If you compare the cla to a ford mustang, the difference is obvious. The Mustang is way lower in quality, safety and overall engineering, thats, why it costs the half of the cla amg... ;)

Funny that you reviewed the pre facelift, The facelift has comfort suspension, bucket seats, and a much better looking airo kit. I Think you would have a different option of the car and how it drives if it was the 2016 version.

For a similar price, I'll take the C43 all day. for 10k more you can get into a low spec'd C63.

What were the options that made it cost so much? I'd like to know the breakdown price of each option and the most bang for the buck. I wonder if the owner got some package that was like an $5,000 option that gave a CLA45 coffee mug or something like that. How much were the performance options and which ones do you think were worth the price?

I had a CLA 45 AMG as a daily. Was great with winter tires. Traded it in for the BMW M2 and added a GLA 45 AMG (hatchback version of the CLA) I like the GLA much better than the CLA, shorter by 7 inches it feels more alive and oversteers instead of understeers. We live in snow country and my wife has this as a daily driver and she loves it! Ours is completely blacked out with full carbon package and we were able to lease it for less money than an Audi A6. For her, she gets the fun of driving a sporty 4 door sedan that takes the place of her SUV.

Even though these are expensive brand new, you can easily pick one up used for $35K-$45K. About the same price as a mid to high mileage used C63 AMG. Which one would y'all prefer in this price range. A used Porsche 911, Subaru WRX, C63 AMG or CLA 45

We have the CLA 45 AMG and I love the car in Australia it is really good because you get all the options as standard you can add any options to the car and making the price much more affordable fully spected it is 64 000 USD brand new but that comes with every option and used they are about 10 000 USD less best bang for your buck car love your videos keep up the good work Parker

Haters gonna hate, my 2017 CLA45 AMG has new carbon fiber spoiler, diffuser, and side racing diffuser carbon fiber. Interiors most are carbon fiber. Spent 2000$ on interior and exterior(has new looks for 2017) carbon fiber and my car is the best looking CLA in the world lol. Now it's a perfect car.
