ideaynojodas IV just bought one, got the CLS grand edition on a 60 plate, so far I'm blown away by it, phenomenal machine and surprisingly economic as well if you can resist the monstrous torque lol. I love it.

I think the first CLS looks better than this CLS and the new one! The first gen looks slim and graceful! The second gen and the new one look like they're a bit on the fat side!

nah, the second gen cls with the facelift (2015-2018) looks the best! Aggressive and elegant/classy at the same time, and definitely has the most "mafioso" look of them all! 3rd gen looks very bland and boring, and first is very old/outdated in overall design.

Nope ,the c218 is the best looking ,although the new version I’m driving looks very similar to the original.

@@BullyBoxer no CLS captured the styling purity of the original. The 218 had horrible rear lamp clusters, a generic looking front end & the interior became tacky. The current one has gone back to having some of the original's styling cues but the back end looks like a Vauxhall Insignia or VW Passat. Looks quite anonymous.

As an owner of the older Model, ibhabe to say that Mercedes killed itvwith the 3 . Generation. This llokes just like a E class. So be bhappy if you have a C219 or c218.
