We have a 2009 E350 that's getting the check engine light. I pulled out my code reader and saw a U0002 which references the High CAN Bus performance error. Do you have any suggestions on where to begin to diagnose the problem? Thank you in advance for your help!

Is this the same on a CLS? (W219) I think I've read the w211 and w219 have a lot of components in common. The dashboard looks identical.

For W212: Key in ignition, select default menu (odometer) --> hold 'OK' and 'pick up phone' buttons for a few seconds (on the steering wheel).

In E55 AMG, you have to have outside temperature selected in the display in order to have voltage reading displayed.

You need to be on the "0 km/h" page for this to work. Step up/down until you get there, then three taps on the reset button will do.

My positions on ignition 1 and 2 are the same.When I turn key to 1st position, all accessory light come on. This does not allow me to follow your instructions. Would you know the cause?

Funny story to the rest of you: I tried to start my car today, the dashboard lit up red, with some text about break failure, CD keept turning on and off, the analog clock started to spin backwards, the breakpedal twitched, the startermotor was silient, warning that I had no break appeard and that I should restart the car. Everything acted up, like a poltergeist was in control of the car. I guess I have to charge the battery and try again :D

Hi, recently I got an '03 E500, tried to get in this hidden menu by pressing 3 times reset button, didn't work. Any one knows what might be the problem and is there any other way to get in to this menu so I could check battery? Thanks

Click the button 3 times very fast. If you click slow it wont work.

I found that weird too because his is at 14.2 and drops when he revs it MINE IS AT 14.1 BUT IT ALSO DROPS WHEN HE REVS IT …. COULD IT BE THE ALTERNATOR? I HAVE THE BEST AGM BATTERY. But did not code it does it need to be coded ?

WRONG!! That's Utility or Auxiliary battery voltage; it is not main or Engine start battery. If the main battery was resting at 12.1 volts; it might be too weak to even start!
