I have a 2006 E220 W211 and this didn't work, presumably as the garage updated the Comand software. Is the only option now to get a garage to use the Star system to amend driver distraction settings, or is there another hack?

Worked for me!!!!👏🏻🙌🏻 I have a 2003 w211 with a pan roof that I bought specifically FOR the pan roof after I owned a solid roof 2002 model for 6 years and it was the most fun drive I’d had in my life but lacked the roof. I had work done on it yesterday and the roof didn’t work in the glorious sunshine this morning- typical 🤬🤬🤬 But this procedure has fixed it- I think I’ll lube the channels now to make sure all is well. Thanks again 🤜🏻
