My seats do the same thing on both sides… move when I first get in and when I turn them on they move for a little bit and stop. But for 20yrs old seats I’m glad they work period..
@HeyboysGarage5 ай бұрын
Okay so it’s not just mine. I’m curious to see how I can get it fully functional again
@bobgodd5 ай бұрын
The dynamic seats will shut down if there's a leak somewhere. At this age, it's almost guaranteed that at least one of the bladders in the seat has a leak. My suggestion is to either fix the bladders which requires pulling the leather seat cover off, or just pull the fuse in the trunk and abandon it. The feature is cool when it works, but it's a lot of work to get it working again. Or could be a new video series lol.
@HeyboysGarage5 ай бұрын
@@bobgodd that sounds like a lot of work! Yeah I feel the bladders sometimes filled and firm and sometimes flat just depends when. So there is a leak then. I will do some looking to see if this is something I would like to fix and how long they will last

That stalk controls the push to talk features for different commands like changing CDs, the radio, or the phone. Because you have an upgraded stereo that feature likely no longer exists for you to use. Check your center console for a phone module or at least a spot for one . Congrats on the 55 I just picked up an 04. Excited to see what you do with it!

@@HeyboysGarage definitely confusing as the lettering tends to fade with age. Throw on some tints and if you haven’t already order the Bosch 010 intercooler pump for those IATs

The lever is voice control, had it on a clk55. but doesnt really do much. So, got the CLS55 last week with the following: full custom sound system, secondary cat and resonator delete, remap to 536 horse and peak torque at 2500rpm, limited slip dif and a custom map on the gearbox. As for miles per galon I am getting 23mpg on the motorway, 17 combined after hooning. The nob - aftermarket, would say probably for a subwoofer adjustment in an aftermarket radio (probably had it in the past)
@HeyboysGarage5 ай бұрын
Congrats on the CLS55! Thats are hard to find. That secondary cat and tune is probably helping with the better mpg! Also that exhaust combo I heard sounds really amazing

I dont really think the E55 feels like a boat. I have a 2003 S-Class with the V12 that feels heavier the E size wise definitely isnt to bad

Thanks! For 160,000 it’s really clean. Car was taken care of. If you are in the market for one prices will range from 10k-14k for a clean m113k around 100k miles and up. Lower than that will be looking at more. Depends on your budget and where you live
