I think the video is a bit misleading. The first scene shows an Mercedes EQC while the battery production footage is from a Mercedes Energy Storage production (2:40 onwards) and Smart car battery production (starting at 6:05). So we don't seems so see any actual EQC battery production here. Good job on the EQC camouflage by the way - I saw one of these prototypes on the road some weeks ago and was sure it was a BMW by that time :-)

To all impatient people in the comments joking about slow speed, it is not the workers, who are slow, but the conveyor speed is set this way to avoid collisions and technical failures on the line. Employees in this video are fast. Sure, you can stress yourself and do your part 5 sec faster, shortening the time on your end from 60 seconds to 55 seconds, but you won't handle working in such a tempo even for two hours without making mistakes and robot arms will not speed up for you: as long as you provide supply to the robots, the work is done quickly. And when human mistakes happen, fixing them may slow down production for 10-15 minutes, sometimes affecting multiple working stations. It really makes sense to keep the steady pace instead of rushing trying to save every second and then stopping to waiting, while parts of the machines are being replaced. Conveyor belt can certainly move a bit faster, but these robot arms Kuka you see in the video can assemble everything only at a certain speed.
