this is the only electric 7 seater out there that is not a mini van. it's perfect. the 3rd row will be fine for children or a baby seat. I much rather drive this than a Yukon or navigator.

Anhängerkupplung is not available for the EQB According to Finnish Mercedes-Benz website. EQA and EQC can be equipped with the hitch. Maybe the full potential of the compact platform is used to the max in EQB. Bear in mind it's basically an A class Mercedes stretched to fit 7 persons + heavy batteries. So if you need a hitch, go for an EQA or an EQC. No 7-seater with tow hitch Mercedes available yet, unfortunately. Not even EQV can be fitted with the hitch.

Our old 535d from 2005 had an electrically movable steering wheel, it even moves to steering wheel fully in and up if you remove the seat belt so for easier ingress/egress.

I don't know about this feature. I always find the ideal position for myself and keep it like that. If the stearing wheel is in the way when exiting the car, it's an indicator that I need to loose some weight 😊. If you have any common sense you don't let your wife drive your car, you buy her another car.

Hi Björn, just to be correct: tesla did not invent electric adjustment of steering wheel. You could find that in upper class cars much earlier. I.e. in my old 2003 Jaguar XJ - she had also electric adjustment of the pedals!

I don't know if any of these SUV type cars have easy access 3rd row seating. I tried the humongous Tang and did not find that to be so much better. My impression was more that a small person would feel it's a bit cave like cos of the poor view. I could be mistaken on the last. Anyway my 13 yo was okay with both. I would not buy a car like this if I need 7 seats every day, but it's nice option to have and the space is good when it's not in use.

if you want a real 7 seater then you have to go with a huge car like a navigator or Yukon, those cars are ugly and feels like you are driving a tank. I much rather driver smaller SUVs like this. the 3rd row is fine for children

It’s gotta be considered a 5+2 - not a ‘true’ 7-seater - in it’s current size. Perhaps they should have stretched the EQB by about 9-12 inches, to create a much more useable 3rd row? It’s a shame I’m unable to consider it as an electric people carrier, as there’s quite a bit to like with EQB… especially more at entry level!

Similar to my petrol Outlander. OK for emergency children transport but I always worry about safety in an accident. To call these cars a 7 seater is a bit of a stretch bordering on deception. Rather like calling an upturned bath an air raid shelter, yes you could hide under it but not safe.

volvo xc90 2015+ seems to be the only SUV I seen that I can accept as a 7seater. Rest either cheat on leg space or trunk space.

Excellent interior space review. Its just to small. 3 row does not work. Why oh why not add 30cm???? Would have made the 3 row acceptable and added maybe 10-15cm for storage behind the 3rd row, which would have made a difference. Also No airbag for 3rd row which Volvo has. Sorry mercedes you messet up!

I remember the old GM Zafira 7 seater and how a buddy had a huge wad of compensation after a relatively minor shunt up the ass, he was in the 3rd row "boot seat" and had one of his legs guillotined. The leg space in these 7 seaters are awful, bring back the rear facing Scandi Seats that used to be in the volvos of the 90s.

Can you please review Citroen ë-berlingo/Peugeot e-rifter/Opel combo-e-life, preferably in the 7-seater configuration? In France its MSRP starts below 45000 euros mark, which is eligible for the biggest gov't incentive (5k euros), but the somewhat lacking 50kWh battery might be a big hindrance...

That metal weapon is in the Tesla also, I have heard you ask twice about that … LOL. It screws in the front bumper, there should be a small cap in the front of the facia so that if you need to pull the car out of a situation. You make my day every video!!

Just assume the "what the heck is this thing" is a towing hook. Small rectangular plastic decklids in the front and the rear bumper where the towing hook can be screwed into.
