The reason for using the front motor in Sport+ mode is probably, that it's more efficient then the rear one. So why not using it in Comfort mode? In Comfort mode, it's decoupled via a disconnect unit (came into production within last year). Decoupling is even more efficient than using it permanently. But in Sport+ you don't want to decouple it as the response time is slower once you need immediate power. There would be then a delay while waiting for the clutch to close.

That's a not fully working 4WD system. You should ask MB why the front wheels are not even turning at all in that situation.... That would be interesting. Because there is absolutely 0 practical reason not to send enough torque for that to the front wheels if it has a front motor.....

I heard about a Danish woman putting her baby outside a cafetaria in New York during. She was charged with child abuse. Ridiculous. Weather is negated by clothing. But most people who do not live in colder climates don't seem to see it that way. Fortunately the Danish woman was not punished. The judge ruled that it was child abuse in the USA, but not considered child abuse in Denmark. So she was found guilty without punishment if I remember correctly. In my country I think they don't put children outside in the freezing cold, except when going for a walk or on a bike.

I think most Scandinavian countries puts their babies outside to sleep. As Bjørn commented, they sleep much better outside. Of course, we don’t put them outside in -10C (or well, maybe they do in Norway, but not in Denmark :D ), but from they’re around 2 weeks old until they stop napping, they sleep outside in the baby stroller. They have a thick mattress, as well as warm clothes as well as warm covers, and you when you feel their skin they’re varm. Once the kids start attending day care/kindergarten, the practice will continue, and it’s not uncommon to see 10-15 baby prams parked next to each other in kindergarten around noon, each with their own kid sleeping. I don’t think there is a proven scientific reason behind it. It’s something that’s been going on for centuries, and when it started it was probably a lot healthier for the baby to sleep outside, than inside a smoke and sooth filled cabin, but i guess you could argue that the opposite holds true today, where indoor air quality is often better than outdoor air quality in large cities. In any case, it is VERY common practice in the Nordic/Scandinavian countries, to the point where only immigrants will not do it. Unless your kid has a medical condition that suggests sleeping outside is unhealthy, that’s where they go to nap :)

Mercedes is a spanish female Name. Gottlieb Daimler decided to name his car brand after a famous Spanish female race driver. So it's Mercedes Benz instead of Daimler Benz.
@Alexander-ig6jm8 ай бұрын
Facinating how much wrong stuff you can stuff into three short sentences. The naming of a new car design of the Daimler Motoren-Gesellschaft as "Daimler-Mercedes" in 1900 was initiated by a male (not female) racecar driver and trade partner of DMG called Emil Jellinek who was from Austria-Hungary (and not Spain). Inspiration was his 11 year old daughter Mercedes. The brand Mercedes was registered in 1901, but without "Benz" since the merger of DMG and Benz & Cie took place more than 20 years later. At that time DMG and Benz were competitors.
