Bjørn, you can switch tracks from the steering wheel. Go to classic view on the driver cluster and then up/down to the album art view using the left d pad. Now swiping left/right the left dpad will switch tracks. I also set up the back key as a shortcut to my other favorite view (assistance) and switch between both effortlessly.

This high spec EQSuv costs nearly as much as a fully loaded Taycan CT 4S (my configurator spec is €187k). My only concern would be the size of it for daily driving & parking, it looks MASSIVE. Also, I really liked the thin stalk cruise control on the left from the early 2000's models: up or down to turn on and hold or multi-push to lower or raise speed. Pull to me to resume and push to turn off. I hate push button cruise control.

I look forward to owning a fully loaded EQS SUV used in 1 quarter century previously owned by one old couple in a warm non-snowy region for $4,000 (inflation adjusted). But I'm not sure how many they will make. I will probably have to do the traditional DIY battery swap then?

Wait till out of warranty. I have 2016 Mercedes c300. My driver side air suspension dropped. It cost me 6400 to replace at Mercedes. The car value is only 22000. Now I get scared if I hit a pothole smh

Nearly all review videos are of new cars, but from the few videos of older but recent models of German luxury cars, say 4/5 years old, and you can see that they are too complicated & too fragile to keep beyond warranty. Then they become money pits with disinterested dealerships and regular mechanics can't fix them. Porsche may be an exception but it's true for Merc/BMW/Audi. EVs will be less likely to have the drivetrain failures of ICE cars. Bjorn has videos about 3rd party repairs (replacement) to high milageTesla suspension. But I think all these high tech electronic functions & electric motors for everything could be potentially problematic (in both ICE and EVs) after a few years of use. If you have a trade in offer of €22k I'd take it and get a new(er) car. Or wait for another air strut to fail 😬

14:17 Maybe it will let you recall a stored memory position with a single press as long as the driver door is open. That's how it is with Volvo. With the door closed you have to hold the button to recall the stored position, but with the door open you can just press it.

It's fully possible to open the hood to access it, but it's under cover with screws and under that lid is red hood release thing.

I’m not sure you need that. I have an i4 and just set it to preheat before I travel. I’ve never had a problem defrosting this way.

Yup. Mercedes does what you tell it to do. You tell it to fold the seats, it folds the seats. It doesn't complain, bitch, beep, give an error message, or fail, like other cars (American, Japanese, Chinese, etc.); it just does it. If it has to move some other seats out the way, then fine, it does it.

@Bjørn Nyland I'm not poor, I drive an R350, I'm just sick of car companies making only cars that are expensive. In the 80's I owned a Hyundai Pony, a VW Rabbit and a VW FOX. I was 19 just started an Apprenticeship and bought and paid off my first car. Ev's especially don't make a single car that allows this now. VW has especially lost it's ways. It's not your fault, it's all these shitty car companys fault. Every car you are able to review is out of touch for the common man. And rich people don't complain because they are rich.

E Mobility is made for the upper class of society. Having an own house with PV on the roof and and a energy storage at the cellar. Rising prices for 1 kWh who cares I produce my own energy. Cars with combustion engine will be the mobility for „poor“ people for years
