Amazing work from these guys, I had an issue with my 2009 W204. I knew this was the issue but Mercedes wouldn’t help me unless I took the car to them, It would have cost me thousands to get a new ECU from them. Thanks to these guys they went above and beyond even when issues occurred with my original EcU they were able to clone a donor unit. With everything installed my car fired up on the first try after weeks being down. 100% recommend. Thank you again so much!

@endri15255 no. VVDI prog doesn’t do 2.8.1. I can do it with Hexprog.

What on the label tells you its a ME2.8?

Question couldn’t you just solder the original chip to the donor ecu without reading the data and transferring to the other chip?
@mercedesbenzspecialist2 ай бұрын
Yes. As long as the part numbers match on the ECM.

Very little info is found for ME 7.4.7,mine starts massive misfire on multiple cylinders after 10 km drive,I sent it for testing and they could not fault,could it be the injector driver mosfets?
@mercedesbenzspecialist2 ай бұрын
It could be the mosfets. It could be the ignition controller chip. It could be solder integrity issue. It’s difficult to diagnose the cause. Much easier to replace it with another unit.

Is it possible for you to just read the original EEPROM on the board and then write it to the donor EEPROM on the board?
@mercedesbenzspecialist5 ай бұрын
Yes. The FBS data and VIN can be transferred from original to a donor. However, the VIN in the donor will revert back to its originally programmed VIN after it is disconnected from power. Therefore, unless you have a Xentry/DAS or similar scanner to go in and change the VIN after you have received it from whomever programmed it for you. The VIN change won't hold.
@TroyCarroll5095 ай бұрын
How is this possible? I thought an EEPROM was nonvolatile, meaning it doesn’t lose data when it loses power. And doesn’t the writing process erase the EEPROM before it is written to?

I have a 2004 clk500 with this ECU, it's got the immobilizer set for some reason, the key turns the steering lock releases radio and all other modules are active and running, hit the brakes I can get it out of gear, but.... No crank no start and for some reason it says immobilizer active on my scanner when scanning the ECU.. is there any way to delete the immobilizer entirely?

Hi I have a question. My Ecu unit is A2721531591, can i use A2721532992 or A2729002700 as a replacement? Some suppliers said its the same for all A272 models. Can you help? Thanks in advance!
@mercedesbenzspecialist11 ай бұрын
Not all 272 ECMs can be used to replace your original ECM. There are several variations coded into ECMs. For example, if you have a rear wheel drive vehicle, you can’t use a donor ECM from a 4Matic vehicle. It’s best to get the same part number. Even better, get a ECM that supersedes the original ECM part number. Mercedes releases superseded parts to replace parts that had known issues. If in doubt, contact us ready with your VIN and we can advise on the correct donor ECM to use. We also offer cloning/programming of a donor ECM to your vehicle. mercedesbenzspecialist.net/shop/ols/products/ecm-ecu-engine-computer-module-programming-clone-service-for-mercedes-me97
