Keith, is this the same antenna used by the ML350 for SiriusXM satellite radio? My sat radio has started to periodically show "No Service" comment. In my research I'm starting to think that the antenna for XM is under the roof panel in the back that is made out of plastic so it is non-metallic and the only way to get into this is to remove the headliner which would be a real PIA. Appreciate any help you can provide or whatever problem I might have if antenna is not the issue.

Few questions if you are still around. I found something really odd as I replaced my stock radio with an alpine. Because I spliced into the Benz wiring, I am able to have both radios hooked up at once. Stock radio produces sound from fiber optic to stock speakers while my alpine produced sound through the rca cables to my added aftermarket amp and subs. With that being said, I couldn’t figure out why my alpine would not receive fm stations, but the stock unit was. Even though I disconnected the antenna from the stock radio and ran to the alpine. So somehow the stock unit is still receiving reception through power or ground. I would have assumed the fiber optic, but still no fm when fiber optic is hooked up to the alpine. Am I missing something? Or how exactly does the antenna link to to the stock radio?

Could be a ground issue. Or a bad relay.

Hi, What was the reason for replacing this antenna signal amplifier? I have a 07 Gl450 and my radio/CD appear to be working but I have no sound at all. Checked the amp and alot of the other modules. No water damage anywhere. Any thoughts? thanks

did you ever find the fix i have the same problem i changed everything but nothing works, i have a 07 ml350 and when i turn the ignition on, only a minute of sound will play then it would cut off

Hi also can you give me instructions on how to clear the messages on my R350, 2010 Mercedes? The messages is for oil change etc., got it done by my regular mechanic & dealership wouldn't do it because they said they didn't do the service. I know you did something like this on your channel before, but I couldn't catch the sequence. Thanks.

those white fasteners must be replaced. you have to put new ones on the black plastic panel, then push the pointy end into the holes in the metal sheet. one way to remove them without breaking them is to remove the bottom black plastic piece first (which you did not remove), and put 1/4 inch socket into the openings of the sheet metal, rich behind the white plastic fastener and put the socket over the fastener to pop them out. but even with that technique, some of them will break, and since they don't cost much any how, it is better to just replace them with new ones.

Generally the tabs brake because the plastic gets old. Don't know the price for Mercedes tabs, but on Volvo they are crazy-priced. Wish I had a 3d-printer for all those small jobs.

I've been having the same issue in my 07 gl450. The radio/cd plays but there is no sound. Checked almost every module in the car. Can't find the problem. Are you having the same issue?

I need some serious questions asked you seem so very smart and on the ball! I have this person from years ago my car will get damaged I know it's being done I take it in to get repairs and my parts are stolen. My truck was loaded now they kerp taking stuff from it! My motor 2 motor mounts got broken they had been replaced 2 years ago. When I took my car in this time I knew something bad was up! A few items obvious it had also taken someone on purpose damage to my brand new shifter! What I noticed was up under the dash board at the far left onthe top of dash it was very hot! After I got my car back. They said they had to take the engine out I knid you not this engine is not mine my engine was so clean. Now this person is offering me money I ssid no today! They took some out my car used to wake up at 5:45 am and by the time I was ready to leave the car was perfect! Awake ready to drive now it does nothing! I know something was stolen. This creep he's been doing this to me now 11 years! He began by selling my items then my cat it's never stopped. Today these people co.ing around me now as crazy as this sounds every time they get ready to do thing yo mr they post a horrible video about Michael Rockefeller! Yes I'm for real my name is Rebecca!
