This is the best brake video for Sprinters that I've seen. Appreciate the torque specs too. Other sites didn't show bleeding which is the secret to good pedal response. THANKS

2013 Sprinter truck here, in Scotland, I just serviced the rear brakes, the handbrake seizing is a common problem esp here where they salt the roads in Winter. Now thanks to you, I'm going to tackle the front ones. 🙂

Man this video is awesome, so in-depth, yet understandable even for the average joe! I will have to the front brakes on my 2005 Sprinter, I suspect the process is the same? Again, great work, subbed!

My lower 6mm allen bolt that holds the caliper is rusted and buggered and the allen key will not remove. If I cut in the center of the rubber boot with a 4" disk cutoff blade/saw, remove the bolt and then with vise grips and heat remove the stub left in the caliper...Excellent video....TIA

Great video , I’ve done 2 brake jobs, all 4 wheels on my ‘17 sprinter , never had an issue with frozen calipers , question is what are causes for caliper to freeze up ! Once again thank you for your videos , they have helped me tremendously

@rcf8367 Thanks! yes, it has a pretty big brake fluid tank but you have to check the fluid while doing this process!!

Brake fluid is readily absorbed thru the skin and can cause serious health problems thru repeated, long term exposure. Nice to see the gloves; however, you were exposed. Please use the tube.

Remove cap from brake reservoir, remove half brake fluid from reservoir. Remove brake sensor with needle nose pliers Loosen top and bottom pins with 6mm Allen key Top and bottom pin retract with a flat head screw driver so you can take the caliper bracket off. Brake pads slide out Clean the area Use your brake piston tool to push pistons back Add your lubrication Add new brake pads Reinstall bracket Tighten to spec and done
