Mercedes W108/109 Windshield trim refinishing.

I shot this video over a year ago. It is a long one, but i wanted to cover a lot of detail. I take you through the whole process from start to finish, refinishing the windshield trim on my Mercedes w108. I use simple tools that are readily available to the home garage. Using polyurethane for its UV resistance and durability, but a good quality catalyzed lacquer could also be used.

This video is so thorough and highly detailed. Honestly though I don't think most of us have the talent to achieve these superior results. Even with the step by step instructions you are clearly an expert on this process where most are not even close to that. Hehe.

Great job, really nice looking. Looks a bit too glossy for Southern California. I plan to make mine as flat as possible. Against a dark blue and somw sun angles, the trim is too visible in tge windshield reflection.
