Thanks Pierre - you help in so many varied ways. I've now got 5 old Benzes - none of them concours and all of them driven regularly and most purchased under $5000. I would never have done it without your encouragement to save the ones that are on the edge. Keep up the great work, and thanks for all you do!

Many thanks Pierre and congratulations on 20 years. You’ve amongst the 20% that make it to 20 years, ie 80% fail. You have every right to be cheerful. Never apologize or feel bad for what you charge. If you weren’t worth it, you’ll soon find out when the shop is empty. Clearly it is not, if you have a wait list or people ship cars to you from afar, you still have room to raise prices. Helps staff retention, reduces your stress and increases well being. Companies which focus on quality of workmanship always outlive those that focus on volume. Wishing you, your fellow workers and family all the best for 2024.

Thanks Pierre, I've been watching you since I got my w124 300e (m103) 5 years ago, even though you don't make too many videos about my car or engine specifically, your knowledge has been very insightful throughout my 5 years and counting of ownership, I hope one day I can drive down from Canada to visit your shop and have you run a fine-toothed comb through my old beast! cheers.

Hearing you Pierre. Been on the tools in transport since 1988 and most of my bosses ran diesel Mercs for me to maintain. Working on vehicles will hurt your body, especially your spine if you are leaning into an engine bay. Great you found nutrition that helps. You need to try Pilates and you need to teach yourself and your staff to be aware of posture. The discs in your spine WILL herniate if you spend too much time outside of correct posture. Good luck for 2025!

Pierre, do all radiators with plastic tops get spring clamps to allow for expansion, so that the radiator doesn't crack?

It's a wonder you don't have to charge more than 195 per hr. The way the existing economy has been and all its very difficult to stay in business. You have to make money too, or forget about it. How I fully understand this? I have been a Contractor for going on 44 years now. Thanks for everything so far, very much appreciated indeed!

-3-4 employees? So there's a man rolling around the shop who lost his legs in Vietnam? 3.5? -$195 and hour??? A few years ago I remember Pierre talking about $120 an hour WOW INFLATION

$195. WOW. That is... WOW.

I'd rather pay Pierre $195/hr. for his fantastic work and problem solving skills than other professions that charge $300/hr. for no substantive, lasting solution. Pierre always gets the work right the first time, so that saves the customer time, which is $$!

He doesn’t lie or deceive and cares. That alone is worth the extra money.

My mercedes specilist in england charges £175 an hour and that is still cheaper then the main dealer. Welcome to that benz life where buying the damn car is the cheapest part 😂 .
