When you've completed your Seagal series you should do one big tie up video where you rank all the movies in terms of how Seagal-esque they are and assign point to whether he does his own stunts, voice dubbing, body doubles, bad editing, nonaeical plot, sex scenes, strip clubs etc, if he's in a helicopter, how the title is just three random words, the posters etc and also the actual good films

What?! Michael K. Williams was in this? Oh, man .... how'd that happen? Thank God he went on being awesome in Boardwalk Empire. Still, kind of a shame, after playing Omar on The Wire. One of my favourite actors, miss him already. ;-( On another note: Thanks for your great videos! I just recently stumbled upon the channel. It's great. Keep it up. 5.000 subscribers soon and many, many more to come, I hope. These videos always put me in a good mood :) Speaking of Michael K. Williams: I've noticed you pretty regularly not acknowledging known actors in these videos. Sorry, I don't remember all these ridiculous titles, but Isaac Hayes was the coroner eating next to a corpse in one of these and Johnny Messner and Vernon Wells were in another one. Do you just not know these guys or is it due to time constraints or maybe it just doesn't seem important to you? That's not a put down of any kind, genuinely interested in why that is.
@RedEyeReviews3 жыл бұрын
Yeah Michael K. was a solid actor. Lol so I am just terrible with names. So usually I need to go out of my way to commit people to memory. But if I don't acknowledge an actor, it's either because I genuinely didn't realize, or I wanted to talk about the main character more. Lol OR the day I wrote my script I didn't have the IMDB pulled up and just called someone "Badguy" instead of their name Lol. Which is just lazy I know.

12:23 Milk-toast, also milquetoast - adjective: 1. of a person : timid, meek, or unassertive 2. lacking in character or vigor: wishy-washy Etymology: Caspar Milquetoast is a comic strip character created in 1924 by cartoonist Harold T. Webster. Beginning a few years after the character's debut, the term milquetoast came to describe a timid or meek person. Caspar's last name is fitting because milk toast is a weak, bland concoction of buttered toast served in a dish of warm milk.

"Milquetoast" kinda means like timid. Like she's calling that guy a wuss, basically. Milquetoast is the name of a character from an old time comic strip about a guy who is super timid, and the character's name comes from the food milk toast, which is considered bland and easy to digest, perfect for someone with a "weak" stomach. So it's an insult indicating weakness or shyness, probably being pretty basic as well. It's an odd term but I'll at least give them credit that it's not some weird term they made up for the movie, like that bizarre birthday quote Seagal has in one of his movies.

AHAHA Those urinals aren't even plumbed or fastened properly. That whole wall moves so much, jeezee. That Funeral section is just so funny with Steven saying he promised to bring him back. Its like something that ought to be in a Shlocky Call of duty rip off game. Actually has Steven ever done any video games? In all of his career, I don't think he ever got involved with direct to flop, just direct to shlock. Also I think I've seen this one and thought it was three different movies. I saw the badguy hostage bits separately and then the Langley Kirkwood sections as its own movie actually just a few days ago. I thought it was going to be some dogs of war tier decent mercenary flick. The Uzi with the suppressor I definitely recognized. It reminds me of Escape from New York which I always wondered why they chose that weapon and how it was modded. Honestly they should have just ditched Seagal like a sack of potatoes out of a speeding van on the highway and just made Kirkwood or someone else the main character. Maybe Dolph Lungren, his mercenary movies are always fun and actually believable.

0:01 I had to look up what that is on IMFDB because it looks like a Galil (Israeli), but it also looks like an Rk.95 (Finnish), and both of those trace their design lineage back to the Rk.62 (which, in turn, traces its design lineage back to ye olde AK). Turns out it's a Vektor R5 (South African version of the Galil SAR). At any rate, any of these rifles would be prime choice, not merely serviceable but exceptional. 0:04 I've got the perfect nickname for the guy with the spikey blonde hair: "Guile Pearce." 1:32 Of course, there has to be someone stowing hand grenades sloppily on the D-rings of their rig instead of stowing them properly in pouches. Plus, how much you wanna bet he's right-handed? Well, how does he intend to be able to shoulder a rifle?! BOTH of his shoulders are obstructed, his right one worse than his left! 1:50 More sloppily stowed hand grenades. Pineapples this time. Different uniform, so maybe he's from the opposing force (this is one that I don't recall seeing, so I don't know). I point that out because even mercs prefer commonality and consistency is a cohesive manual of arms. 2:04 Unfold that stock and fasten that helmet strap, greenhorn! You want the opposing force to laugh at you?! 5:38 How do typos like that make it into a movie?! I used to proofread Yellow Page ads for a living (for $8.50 an hour) and I'd get chewed out if I didn't maintain a 98% accuracy rating with catching typos and improper punctuation and whatnot. Oh, and the office looked just like Office Space. Thankfully, we didn't have to wear ties. Could you imagine having to wear a necktie at a job that pays $8.50 an hour?! 12:18 Is this where that term comes from?! I've heard people say that in recent years and never knew what it meant because it sounds stupid. 14:24 Is that what they mean by "milk-toast?" So it means something like "hoity-toity?" [[researches]] Nah, it just means "wimpy."

What do you think the missing scene was that was supposed to link everything together? I watched the movie myself and couldn't really figure out where. But I think the missing scene was introducing some of the characters that seem to just randomly appear. However, it's not uncommon for Seagal movies to have it where Seagal figures stuff out without any scene to tie it or place him there. It's like he knows what is going on, who the bad guys are, how to find them, and exactly what they're going to do next.
