You can use a Light Crossbow while on horseback - it's what the mounted Sword Sisters use. After 150 in Crossbow though, you can select a perk that lets you use any crossbow while on horseback.

When you try to court someone and you have the first dialog that 'you can meet again' or whatever, you do not have to wait 24 hours to talk to them again. You only have to wait 24 hours after your start the attempt with the rolls to pass or fail.

I think the reason it's giving so much for some of the tournaments cause of the rewards, instead of getting the horse when his companion wins, he gets money, like the companion instantly sells the horse, or the Tournament converts it's worth to money and gives it to the companion who gives it to the player

My guess to the random winnings would be maybe they auto sell the winning item? You didnt get the warhorse but if i recall they are a pretty good chunk if change.

Absolutely agree that they are probably selling the item but a horse is usually worth around 12-18k and not the incredible amount we saw in this episode so it's still a little puzzling! :)

@@ReformistTMif you look at the expected reward for winning before you left the tourney it was roughly 23K, so not a massive stretch if you just imagine they bet on themselves as well

You count the bolts you have before battle and count how many you shoot in battle.

@@ReformistTM Then you risk taking your eyes off the enemy and getting killed by an enemy archer? The best in that case is to keep reaching for the quiver til you're out of projectiles to grab?

I'm sorry, I thought you were joking. There is never a time when you can't take your eyes off the enemy, there are always downturns in battle. The fact that the HP bar for example is in the bottom right of the screen is a testament to this. But my main statement regarding "looking at the quiver" was made in a bandit hideout, not in a field battle. In a field battle, it would be a lot more difficult to check the quantity of bolts but not because enemies are more plentiful, it's usually just because I'm on horseback. Hope this helps to explain things a little more! :)

It might 'make sense' but I've always hated when tournaments start you at your current HP value instead of healing you to full for the tournament. I mean, you're getting healed back to your current hp after every round anyways so why not the entire health bar?
