Merch by Amazon - Invalid PNG Error - Please upload a valid PNG

Hi everyone! This is what we do to be able to upload our T-Shirt designs. Not sure WHY this works, though... do you have any other ideas or theories? Thanks!

I've followed step by step with designs I created with Canva. Saved at the correct image size, transparent background, and uploaded to Google drive. Only difference is that I don't have a computer but my Android let's me do everything I could on a computer. But I'm still getting the error message. Could someone tell me what the issue is?

How do you select the file from the cloud? I'm only seeing my computer desktop and folder options.

I'm having the same problem. I did this & it worked, but only problem is now I'm getting a white background on my design instead of no background. How do I fix this? Can you do it right in procreate?

Hi! The only thing I could think of is that you didn't remove the white background in Procreate (uncheck the layer)?! Other than that, it should not happen.

Use PNG type and before save in photoshop hide/remove background , in illustrator set background opacity to 0.

Sorry if this is months later and I dont know if anybody has spoken on this, but I was using photoshop and I mainly think it has something to do with the image size. You MUST have the image size (not transform size) to be 4500x5400 or it wont accept the artwork. Also I had to save the image on Microsoft Paint (giving me the white background) then re-edit the image using Photoshop to get rid of the white background

Hi! Absolutely right, we also mention that in the video, that the image size must be exact. However, for us, the error occurs when the file technically is correct, and we have no idea where this problem comes from. :)

Hi! We briefly touched it in the video. When the file is the correct size, etc., try to rename the file in the file explorer and add ".png" to the end.

@@DTGMerch Photoshop and Illustrator include the .png on export. I tried removing and then re-adding the extension. This did not work

Try turning OFF your VPN for merch(fixed it for me).

Ok, thanks for the feedback. That bug is still a mystery to us... But also, make sure to check the file size as well. :)
