As a young man always looked up to Andy Williams and others like Dean Martin , Bobby Goldsboro , Jim Ed Brown , Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra songs, Righteous Bros. Tom Jones ....the list goes on and on all the way to the 1970's

The late great Andy Williams had one of the greatest and smoothest voices I have ever heard. He was known as the "King of the Movie Themes." Besides this theme song from "Love Story (1971)." He also did 1. The God Father theme song "Speak Softly Love (1972)." 2. Movie-Breakfast at Tiffany's" Moon River (1964)." 3. A Summer Place (1962). 4.Exodus (1960) 5. Romeo And Juliet " A time For Us (1968)." 6. "As Time Goes By 1962 Movie "Casa Blanca." 7. "Never On A Sunday (1960) Sung in Greek. 8."The Summer Knows" Movie Summer of 42. 9. Born Free (1967)." 10. Love is a Many Splendored Thing (1962). 11. The Shadow Of Your Smile (1965) Movie "The Sandpiper. 12. Somewhere My Love (1965). Movie Dr. Zhivago. "He has so many hits it would be impossible to list them all. He had his own television show from 1960's to 1980's. Even introducing the Righteous Brothers with Bobby Hatfield singing his greatest hit "Unchained Melody (1965)" on his show. He was one of the greatest singers of all times. Awesome reaction. Hello, the last time I heard this song I was a young married man. 46 years have passed and my beautiful wife was diagnosed with a incurable illness 5 years ago. This song now makes my heart ache like Amor Eterno by Juan Gabriel. 😢

Andy Williams did a lot of songs from the movies like this one from Love Story. Then you have Speak Softly, Love from the Godfather, A Time for Us from Romeo & Juliet, Impossible Dream from Man of La Mancha, Love is a Many Spendored Thing from the movie of the same name, Somewhere My Love from Dr. Zhivago, Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffanys, & Born Free, a movie about a couple who raised lion cubs in Africa & set them free. I don’t know if he sang the songs in the actual movies, or if he just covered them later, but he certainly made a career out of movie theme songs. I don’t think you have a movie channel, but all these are worth checking out on your own time if you haven’t seen them.❤

i think i said on your previous reaction it's about a young woman dying of cancer and her husband are just starting a new life then tragic happens a real good sad movie !
