One of the strongest songs on the untitled album. There may be a connection to the criminal case involving Belgian Marc Dutroux. In any case, the line mussels with french fries alludes to a Belgian dish.

The narrator repeatedly sings about what exciting, wonderful things him and the girl are going to do, to then state "and afterwards to you comes the Hallomann". When tension starts building in the music, he just repeats "Hello little girl, how are you doing?" again, before suddenly the music gets real heavy and chaotic, implying that this now is the sinister "Hallomann" entering. The story is told in such a vague way, but so unrepentantly dark, that the listener's mind has no choice but to fill in the blanks.

Till Lindemann literally becomes the person he's singing about. I read where he said he likes to get inside the minds of these sick people and to understand them and why they did whatever they did so in essence he becomes that person. That is why he is so good at what he does. ❤

7:57 - to be honest, a lot of bands in heavy genres (rock, metal, industrial) do it. Limp Bizkit, Ost+Front, Slipknot, Korn, Manson, Slayer, and many more. But Rammstein do it in some special way. I listen to a lot of artists, but no one has sunk into my soul like them. They are just special. Also, speaking of heavy topics, there is a cool project SKYND with unique electronic sound - a duo dedicated only to true crime cases (Columbine, Michelle Carter, Tyler Hadley, Armin Meiwes, Richard Ramirez).

In 2016 in Denmark a 17 Year Old Girl disappeared. 8 months later on xmas eve her body was found in a Lake. The murderer was Never found. Only clue was a bad CCTV recording of a car. 1450 People were interrogated, many who has that special car. But the murderer wasn't found. 3 weeks ago in the same area a 13 year old girl went missing when doing her paper route and was found 40 hours later at a 32 year old guys home, alive but raped and beaten. A few days later it was discovered that he owned that type of car from the murder and they have located it in Slovakia. Yesterday it was confirmed that he has been charged with murder, rape and kidnapping in the case 7 years ago. These events make me think of this song and vice Versa. When my girlfriend herd this son in 2019 she started crying. It was too real for her. Ps she doesn't like Rammstein or Till 😂

Till Lindemann is an excellent actor and really gets into the character he's portraying albeit sometimes a bit too much he literally becomes the person he's singing about. I read where he said he likes to get inside the minds of these crazy, sick and deranged individuals and to try and understand why they did what they did and so in essence he becomes that character/person and that is why he is so good at what he does. Till also mentioned that doing that takes a big toll on his emotional and mental health and that's why after touring he likes to go spend time in nature..fishing etc. He needs that peace and quiet to decompress and center his mind and body... Till Lindemann is just a beautiful man IMO...

🖤🖤🖤 for your reaction, for you two and for Rammstein. 🖤🖤🖤 I also think you should switch it a little and go for the fun and entertainment after last two, very dark songs. So my recommentation would be one of their very popular songs - "Feuer Frei" live from Download festival 2013. Or maybe "OK" (which is not that much popular but I personally like it very much) from the latest album. First one is pure entertainment and that specific live performance is among my favourites and the second one is a funny one. Both are fast and energetic, so you will not be disappointed with either, I'm quite sure. 😉🖤

Yes "OK" It's really "OK" if I can say... This song is much deeper and more realistic than you might think at first sight: it's first and foremost an advertisement for the Catholic Church (eh yes) and then the man who is portrayed in the video is well in line with a lot of men. Many English speakers who listen to and like "Rammstein", but do not translate the lyrics will not understand that they are being gently laughed at

Well, I know at least one other artist who made a song to a similar topic (for a charity concert for street children).
