The fourth American astronaut, Malcolm Scott Carpenter, wore a silver colored space suit during the fourth American human space flight.

I just found an article today about Scott Carpenter's wife Rene. Sort of an over all history of her whole life. Within that article, I found this. "Four years later, she campaigned alongside Senator Robert F. Kennedy and his wife, Ethel, during his bid for president. She was soon writing a syndicated column, “A Woman, Still,” and NBC-TV hired her to help cover the Apollo launches". It's that last part that got my attention. "NBC TV hired her to help cover the Apollo launches". In all of your searching through network coverage of Apollo launches, have you ever come across any NBC coverage involving Rene Carpenter? I would love to see it.

How did it reach orbit in 5 minutes when it takes other spacecraft 8 minutes to reach orbit?
