Did you check all the connections for the coils and the plug wires?

Plugs and plug wires were replaced. It is very possible I missed something easy. Just eliminating what I can one by one

Was it the ECU ? Could you share the cost to have the ECU looked out and fixed if you have done so already ? Thanks

Yes, it was ECU. Bad fuel driver. They could patch it but no guarantee it would last long. Ended up buying new ECU for $1500. Boat runs great now

How did you get it to rev up like that or did it do it by itself I’m having the same problem

It did it by itself. I had throttle pushed down and it would just cut in and out of power.

would the boat power also cut out like someone hit the kill switch mine does the exact same thing but the boat is cutting out now like someone hit kill switch

Mine never got to that point, just wouldn’t go a lot of times, so I couldn’t get up on pad. Just driving around with nose up and no power. Mine did just die like that when I had a bad fuel pump. When yours dies, does it restart? Is your fuel bulb flat or still have fuel in it?

@@PrestigeWorldwideFishing i have all fresh fuel in It when It dies i turn the key off put It in neutral and fires right back up no problem fuel bulb has fuel in It when dies…. hoping It isn’t computer gonna check grounds in ignition area and harness

Dang, was hoping it was the cheaper fix. Sounds like ECU though. If you haven’t, I would check voltage regulators first. Make sure they aren’t burnt up and causing some current issues.

It runs great. I need to adjust it a bit because it isn’t sending enough fuel at start up so I have to choke to start. Other than that small adjustment it runs like new. I need to reach out to them and see if they can provide me a discount code for people. I’ve promoted them for free without asking for anything so you would think they would. I will email them today

I had the same problem, but mine wouldnt even throttle up enough to get on plane....took it to a local shop and turned out to be the ECU. This is my first boat so I didnt know anything about it at all but if I had, I could have saved myself 1500 bucks!

Dang that sucks! Hate that people would sell you a boat without telling you the issues. Hope it is running good now though

Had the same problem with my 200. Drove me nuts trying to find it. Sent my ECU to Simon electronics out in California and it’s been working for 2 years with no problems. The fuel injection drivers needed to be replaced. It was dropping the two top cylinders.

Who did you send your ECU to can you send me the name of the company or telephone number so I can contact them having a similar issue

Rich T, I have a similar problem. If you don't mind me asking, how long did the process take to send off to Simon for repair and sent back to you. Also how much did the diagnostic and repair cost. TiA

On mine it is under the fuel filter. A small L shaped barbed brass fitting. Email me at prestigeworldwidefishing@gmail.com and I will send you pictures of it.
