I rarely see a ‘58 Ford especially one set up like this baby.

Back in the early 70's I bought one off of a good friend. Same body style,it was his daily driver & weekend racer. Interior had 2 bucket seats & C6 floor shifter. He had a 428 w/3 deuces. Later he built a 427 bored/stroked to 454 with a 950 3barrel Holley. It ran low 12's to high 11's. That car was fast! You hardly ever see a '58,but several 57's. Not bad for a daily driver in the early 70's!❤😎👍

Robert M. Trolinder, tri-power was NOT the best choice. My '57 Ford Custom 2 dr sedan has a de-stroked Ford 427 850 CFM Holley carb engine. It's street legal and turns high 9's. I built the car in winter 1969. I still have the car today. I set 3 NHRA records and won 3 class championships. I won with the car at the NE Nationals in June 2022 at NE Dragway with a 9.86 ET @ 121 mph.

@@richards.mchardy3556 WRONG. '58 was the first year for the Ford FE engine.

These are all FE motors. These are the Ford motors that stole back the crown from Mopar in 1964.

It's a FE Engine bored and stroked Large X Huge, and displaces a number of Cubic inches so horrendous that a mere, country boy, like myself does not have the math skills to pronounce it It also produces an amount of horsepower so insanely massive, that the very existence of it is enough to shake a Camaro into a pile of dust!
