This could be one of those cases where the motivations are so simple and elementary that most times they get avoided due to their obvious semplicity. In my opinion this was a fight between probably 2 women sharing the same rooms and facilities over bullshit reasons,that then ended up in a tragedy.I personally don even think that the 2 men have nothing to do with this mess in a direct way.Rudy could have actually tried to help out Mez once he saw her dying on the floor. For those ones of you that cant read the posts of the Italian submitters of the last 12 months are in the 90%of cases hugging Mez and wishing her justice. Some are a little extreme and offensive towards mrs.knox but many don't even take her in consideration at all.they just focus on how Mez was beautiful and adorable in the real life. The differences between the attitudes in Scotland and England is almost immeasurable. Yes, there is anti-Americanism in England, and I'd love to know where you are living then, because it must be an island of civility. Amanda isn't the only innocent one, but she is receiving far more derision than Raffael.

The nightmare is over for Amanda! The Italian court has redeemed itself, and in doing so has condemned the keystone cops that originally investigated this affair. I feel for the victims family, that they were forced to endure this ordeal because the police were incompetent. I'm sure there are corrupt officials that bear some of the responsibility as well. I hope this ends the career of that shameful prosecutor.

When the appeal verdict is given this coming Monday I'm hoping that Knox's conviction is upheld and that her sentence is increased to an actual life sentence so that she is never freed, as the Prosecution have asked. As Mr.Bridger said in the Italian Job, "I hope (s)he likes spaghetti, they serve it 4 times a day in the Italian prisons". If she's kept inside forever as I hope she is, that's lotsa pasta for Amanda to look forward to.

@talltom1973 Since she was convicted, she'll either be acquitted (no bail), or re-sentenced and go back to prison. Either way, she won't be 'released on bail', as this is an appeal.

@MsBScotch the evidence may not show she is guilty beyond all reasonable doubt but it clearly shows she was involved, she lied to police, tried to over up her involvement, and pointed the finger a completely innocent man! She wasnt found 'innocent,' her conviction was overturned due to a lack of evidence showing (beyond all reasonable doubt) that she had committed the murder. What evidence there is should be disturbing to anyone who cares about truth and justice.

two of merediths phones were found in bushes near by the house with fingerprints on them.. to people living near by overlooking the house see three people leaving, and running in oppersite directions.. early that day merediths friends see her drawing out 260 euros to pay the rent the next day, that money was taken from the crime scene.. that was rudys train ticket money to germany...

Those eyes that we see in these pictures saw something horrible & terrifying.. & somebody saw those eyes & did that awful thing to her. I'll never understand how people can murder just like that. yeah.... i read that somewhere.... its horrible....... i also read that one of the three said that meredith had been robbed at knife point and then stabbed....... but the body had been covered with a quilt..... i think its someone she new well.... and they made this story up.... the covering of the body was at some point they felt a bit of remorse......

I agree it's odd behaviour to do a cartwheel in a police station- but after hours in a stressful environment all bets are off in regard to human behaviour- especially a young woman. The bigger question is; "Why would a guilty person trying to get away with murder do a cartwheel at the police station?"

I have first hand experience with the police trying to stick to you words you didn't say. They wrote their version of the story and told me to sign. Fortunately, I had my lawyer with me and she made them correct "my" statement to that which I had actually stated. Apparently, Knox didn't have a lawyer with her when she provided hers.
