We do Christmas here like no other.. and it's still September! I hope to see one day your girlfriend join in the fun that is BGC. Loved the vibe when I was working there for a good 5 yrs and it really is a walkable city. And what's also good is that BGC and most of its buildings and malls are actually pet/animal friendly. Hoping that one day we can see Dollar out and about in the area. What a wise move to purchase some of the essentials in Divisoria so you could save a little (on your next vlog as you say so). It's a new beginning sort of and I wish you good luck in your stay here in the PH, permanently or otherwise. Cheers mate!

Well, he needs content and divisoria is a good place to make a video because of their cheap prices. But if there is no video to make, I don't think he will go to divisoria just to get some discounts. The taxi fare balances the discount that he can get from buying in divisoria. Might as well buy from his neighborhood.

Good decision. My brother and I actually stayed at one uptown last July for 3 weeks. Very convenient location..restaurants , malls, etc. just a joy to stay at. Your video today brings a lot of great memories. I’m sure you’ll enjoy where you’re at very much. Good luck mergim!

Try the basement food court of Uptown Mall. It is right at the entrance of the grocery. The food there is good and is very cheap.

One suggestion, if you need to buy some basic supply for your condo and groceries, check out Landers located just in uptown building. Its an international grocery from UK I think, you can ask the security guard there in your place now.

I still remember your video when you decided to go to the Philippines because in Thailand, hardly no one appreciated your work as a Vlogger. You barely had 3,000 subscribers, hahaha.That was in fact, a declaration that you were rather unhappy in Thailand because of that reason and that viewers were few and far between. As soon as you moved, your subscribers tripled and eventually, you are now nearing 55,000 subscribers. That's quite an achievement. You've decided to live in the Philippines and that's quite a surprise since you have been living in Bangkok for a couple of years but it seems you did not incorporate yourself better. Now you're in your sixth month of being there. You are integrating well. Could it be the English language too that made you realize that it does matter when communicating with others? Anyway, you are now settled where you want to settle. I'm sure there'd be lots of agenda ahead. Your parents must also be a part of your Philippine life. What do they think of your decision? Congrats on your new condo and thanks for all the great vids. You've seen far more of this wonderful country than I have and we've been coming here since our honeymoon in '77! Just got back to London after attending a wedding in Makati (as well as the obligatory stay in Boracay😀). We're considering offloading our land in the nearby province of Bulacan and use it to buy a condo in Manila, probably closer to MOA for us. We always stay in The Manila Hotel and although it's a wonderful, historic establishment, it would make more sense to buy our own place and get a rental management company to look after the place when we're not staying there. All the best👍

Another place to get home essentials close to your place is SNR. You can get home improvements from there at a very cheap price and also do your groceries. Another one is Landers supermarket, it is located right across Uptown mall there.

You may want to check out S&R membership store for your food and household needs. It is nearer your condo. You will find more quality items there, which are comparably cheaper.
