Thank you for posting this video it was very helpful in helping me come up with a dingy solution for my vessel. Even tho I don't have meridian it is a very similar set up. All your videos have been very informative with great clear narration.

3:25 Don't know how long you've been boating *in Florida,* but when you're like me (5 spinal surgeries & an artificial hip) the ability to float over to the Bahamas where you can still legally buy *brand new 2-stroke outboard motors* that weigh almost (not quite) *half what a 4-stroke,* 10 or 15 HP engine weighs, it's something worth considering. The primary way I rupture disks in my spinal-cord is by lifting HEAVY objects which find MY weakest link! There's a very real concern that *I'll destroy myself* long before I'll have any affect on the environment.

I have read that about 2 strokes. My new davit setup reduces the lifting needed. But a lighter motor will certainly help.

How slow do you tow your dinghy? I've found towing on my planning hull boats to be impractical for anything over 7 knots.

7 knots is the max I have towed the dinghy. It’s a comfortable and economical speed for the 341. I would be concerned with breaking lines or pulling tow points off the dinghy anything faster than that.

Hello! How do you like the 341 so far? How long have you had it? I have a 05 290 Sea Ray Amberjack now and looking to go bigger in a couple years and I always love the look of the Meridian 341 or 391. Just wanna get your thoughts on the 341 that's all. Thanks for your time.

We love our 341. Had it for a year and half. The extra space inside is great compared to cruiser types. The all around views when in the salon is what sold me. My only complaint of the 341 vs 391 is the smaller aft cabin on the 341. If you can swing it, go for the 391 if you ever plan to have guests overnight.(larger than teenager sizes..lol) the aft cabin in the 391 is awesome.

@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Thank you for replying...I just love the sliding glass door on them and we love to overnight on the boat and the 341 feels like a floating condo. Thanks again and stay safe!!!

It sure does! We anchor overnight almost every weekend in the summer. All the comforts of home. Good luck!
