Pretty close, except it didn't make the northward turn until it got to the keys, then up the coast. Crazy hurricane year with a path that was just about the same as the 180mph Labor Day hurricane in the thirties.

But heartbreaking to that that after the nightmare of Irma, Jose could pose a threat to the leeward islands. *PLEASE* Don't wait, evacuate, take your pets, help those who cannot evac on their own, friends, family, the elderly or frail. Anyone else notice the upper-level low (ULL) just west/southwest of Irma? What impacts will it have? I'm guessing none since it wasn't mentioned. Irma is going to produce a LOT of tornadoes, too! Also, the Great Smoky Mountains will lose a ton of trees on the highest peaks. Devastating for leaf season as well. Ugh!
