I totally agree. He has supported them 100% without a sponsorship, no PR, etc. He is familiar with branding and customer service, his products are superb!!! There are too many other clean, small brands with excellent customer service in my radar. Wayne Goss speaks from the heart truthfully and respectfully. Merit is a pass for me.

Yes, I love a matte lipstick that isn't drying. I just won't abide a drying lipstick now that I'm nearly 50. I can't! These are really nice, and look so good on my mature lips.

I really like the formula of both. I haven't picked up Slip or Millennial, but I might. Baby is one of my most reached for lipsticks. I use it all the time. I feel like Classic in the matte formula will be one of those too. (probably Maison)

I’m so thrilled that you have the new matte lip formula! I love Merit as a brand but the lipstick is my favorite product. I have five of the satin formula and I bought “Power” in the matte. For a matte, it’s as light as air and buildable. I wear my mattes a little more on the sheer side. I reached out to Merit to see if they were bringing back “Aperitif” which was a limited edition warm red that I was never able to snatch. I’ve been checking eBay and Mercari for that shade! Merit told me that “Vermillion” is the same shade in the matte formula so I’ll be buying that for sure. I love it on you, in fact I love all of them on you! Thanks for the lovely review! Thanks so much for watching today. I didn't think to swatch Aperitif with any of the other reds from the brand. (a missed opportunity, I'm sorry) It's good to know that Vermillion is the same shade with a matte finish. I love how these are light as air on the lips, and buildable. I love a more intense color payoff, but I know so many people prefer a softer look. I hope you enjoy Power. Both the reds excite me, and I can't wait to keep wearing them. Such a beautiful formula and I really like this color selection they released.

I am so happy to see this video.😊 I got all the shades, and this is the first time that I can literally say there is not one shade that I don’t like. I actually wore power yesterday and both the reds are absolutely incredible. I’m going to be wearing equestrian today😂. These are absolutely the most gorgeous matte formula. apart from the Charlotte Tilbury, and I like the Merit a bit better to be honest.

I really love this new matte formulation. It's so easy to wear. It's the perfect "low maintenance" lipstick formula. I'm also so pleased with the shade range for these matte lipsticks. I could easily see myself picking up more. I'm actually more excited about these than some of my more recent luxe lipstick purchases. (I'm looking at you Cle de Peau and La Bouche Rouge)

I only have one of the Givenchy Sheer Velvets, but I prefer this formula. I feel like it's more hydrating than the ones from Givenchy. i do like the softer matte look these can offer. Thanks for watching.

All the colors looked beautiful on you. Hard to pick a favorite, for me Maison.❤ I use their solo cream eye shadow and the flush blush( the only blush I have found that the color doesn’t turn an orange color on me. I am anxious to try their lip products next.❤❤❤❤

I love the solo cream shadow so much. I want to pick up the shade Studio for a slightly cool, pink look. I like the blush, but I prefer other creme formulas. I'm a huge fan of their cream highlight and I like the bronzer a lot. The foundation and lipsticks are my favorite from the line up. (and the foundation brush!)

I nearly picked up Court, but I decided on Equestrian instead. I'm not mad at my choices. I'm probably going to pick up a few more. I doubt I'll pick up the pink in Sunday, but the rest of them look so enticing. Of course I need more lipstick like I need another hole in my head, but . . . Thanks for the compliment on the eyes. It's a very simple look. One matte eyeshadow, liquid liner and mascara. Easy!

I literally have every one of the satins (not purchased all at once) and I bet this will go the same way! I can just already tell! 😂😂 I already have Classic and Maison in a cart ready to try the formula. “Easy and effortless” is how I’d describe the satins, too. I think Merit has awesome and nuanced shades. And the packaging is gorgeous!

I love the packaging. It gives luxe vibes and doesn't break the bank. I like their packaging more than some of the luxe lipsticks I've been purchasing for my luxury lipstick series. I agree with you about the nuanced shades too. Such a great color line up with only 16 shades. These are as comfortable as the original satins, and just as easy to wear. Very much a "low maintenance" lipstick.

I really like the formula. I wore it all day long, and reapplied about every 3-4 hours. Not drying on my lips, and very comfortable. I like that it doesn't go outside my lip lines either. That's always a plus!

my favorites on you are Maison and Power. Maison is like a perfect nude for you. Color theory is a trip - classic looks positively peachy on you whereas I think it'd be more pink on me (very fair, neutral/warm undertone). Maybe bc you have some olive in your undertone? anyway they're beautiful on you. Looking forward to the long term review.

I really like all the shades I have. Classic does lean a touch peachy, but it's not too much. I normally don't like peach leaning lipsticks, but this one is nice. Maison is more mauve in natural light. It's hard to tell with my extreme beauty lighting, but it certainly is more mauve. Thanks for watching today. Personally I don't understand the trend of a bare face but it's just not an aesthetic I like. Whatever makes someone happy works for me, though. You are lucky to look great in the full range and spectrum of colors. I know I sadly do not. So red it is!

😅Hi Lipstick Gal! I ordered Court & Vermillion from Sephora. Well, I received Court yesterday but Vermillion was missing. Sephora is resending it. That's good customer service. Yes I saw Wayne's video. I've had a good customer service experience from Merit a long time ago so it's sad to know he was treated poorly. I really like Court. It's my color. Vermillion looks stunning on you as do the others. I think I will also get Maison cuz it looks great on you. I also have Cabo & Aperitif. Luv them both. @@saram3156 I don't have Court so I can't say. I just watched a video from Hannah Louise Poston and she swatches all the new Merit mattes and shows comparisons of the others cream shades. Vermilion and Aperitif are shade dupes, but Aperitif is sheerer. I love both, but red is my favorite shade to wear and the bolder the better.

I LOVE the foundation stick, it's my favorite stick formula. I just wish they had more shades, 16 shades isn't enough in my opinion. I like the blush but I'm just as likely to use one of their lipsticks as a blush and lip option. I can't use the blushes swiped on my cheeks straight from the product itself. It always lifts my foundation or concealer up. I like patting it on with my fingers or using a brush. They're nice. I have 2 blushes, but I have 10 of the lipsticks. The number of each is a clear indication of how I feel about the product.

Are these lipsticks scented? Everyone is talking about these. They have to be good... ( Living in Europe, I don't want to risk extra duties to pay by ordering these. And they are probably scented, so I tell myself I don't need them.) But the colors look stunning, and I like the packaging. That first shade with the Lisa Eldridge eyeliner and mascara was stunning. Got some Marilyn Monroe vibes.

These AREN'T scented. Neither of the formulas are. I've loved these lipsticks since I first tried the original formula 2 years ago, and I keep buying more shades. When these mattes launched, I had to try them. (despite already purchased so many new lippies for my luxe lip series) I really like how this lipstick wears. It's just as comfortable as the original cream formula, and doesn't bleed outside my vermillion border. I'm so glad I picked these up, and they offered to send me a few more!

I've been loving vermilion. I was so disappointed when I watched Wayne's video. 😔 I agree, Merit can do better. I've only ever had great customer service from them, so for now, I'll continue to purchase and use these products.
