2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is fair, because He chooses to open the door to everyone who accepts to enter regardless their background. He is still sovereign with that. That's the biblical emphasis and perspective that we should highlight.

So…that was confusing. Are you saying that God chooses everyone, or that some don’t have the offer of His promises?

Being blessed doesn't mean you will go to heaven... I think people have it confused. Most people are on their way to hell so in the long run it doesn't even matter. Stop worrying about who has what and what you're lacking and start seeking the Kingdom and find salvation in Jesus Christ. That is the only thing that matters in this lifetime, dont be fooled!

I love your videos but i feel like im missing something here. Only fair because God chooses... so some are chosen and some aren't? What am i missing, because that is the opposite of fair. You could argue He has the RIGHT to do that, but fair?!

I had the same tought but the end is clear : God chose pagan, jews, and everyone in between. God chose people from every tongues, nations and tribes : He chose humains.

@@christreveleenvous8905 Ok, so God chose to '...shut up all in disobedience that He might show mercy to all.' Is that what they're saying? I can roll with that, I just wasn't sure what they meant!

@rightmatt no problem, it happens to many of us 😊 the most important is that it's clear in your mind so you aren't confused

Calvinistic determinism is a false gospel. It is not predetermined who will make it to heaven. God gave man agency, and every person will have the opportunity to accept or reject Him. God choosing who will make it and who won't means we don't have agency, which is a lie.

I’m not sure. But I know there is a verse that tells us we are predestined by God. “In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved,” Ephesians 1:5-6

@youngboybeats1907 I believe those who are called to hold His priesthood and authority are foreordained, or predestinated in a sense, but Paul also spends the majority of His writings taking about the righteousness and faith needed to retain salvation. So are all those who accepted the gospel through his preaching saved through God's predetermined grace, or did they fall away from the faith and were lost through their own agency?
@youngboybeats1907Ай бұрын
@ yeah in a sense. We are predestined by God.. but are given a choice to believe in Jesus, ONLY because of the Holy Spirit though and it’s only through the Holy Spirit that we have faith and produce righteousness. Galatians 3:5, 1 Corinthians 12:3, 8-11 and 6:11 all tell us about how the Holy Spirit is responsible for any of our faith, good deeds, gifts and our righteousness. We alone cannot please God and by nature we cannot accept Jesus (also mentioned in Romans 8:8). Basically it’s not OUR choice, we cannot choose God naturally. God’s Spirit is the one who opens our heart, unveils the truth to us to give us wisdom and conviction so that we know right from wrong. Before we knew Jesus, we were not able to know right from wrong (Ephesians 4:18-19).
