Quick hint: I´ve had a fair bit of success going Merkle -> Kneebar or Merkle -> Saddle Position. .

SUNDAY JULY 27TH, 2024 1115hrs - I'm too old to wrestle anymore, but will be adding this to my jiu-jutu. I like how he turned over his opponent. I think this modification will be a definite improvement on the standard anaconda choke roll.

That first hold is a Pro Wrestling TazMission, but applied low and in front. Pull it back tight, and put the arm behind the head, and it becomes either a very painful crossfade or an effective strangle-choke, depending on how low the front arm is.
