Merle Haggard is one of the best singers and writers I have ever listen too. He lives sometimes on a house boat on Lake Shasta in California. I saw him there once out on the back side of the lake. He was jamming with some friends. We love you Merle keep it up buddy.

My son was same as my son. My son was 8 when his dad passed away to cancer, he was mad and he too went to prison for 2 yrs but has grown to be a great man.

Hailz to mighty MERLE!!! He is a great songwriter and singer. His vocals have a lot of soul, great tone and feeling. I love everything about Merle " but it drives me crazy when I hear you say his wife by his side and son Benny, Fine" but he had some other great women along the way with his kids who adored him, and knew what it was like to really work for a living. And Marty was always there. And Noel was his shadow and his baby for a long time. And daddy's new young wife come along and became the boss, and produced 2 new babies for grandpa, Could not let him have a meaningful relationship with his kids and Scott,.the girls needed time lost back with there dad, without newbie wife a small siblings 😢
