Oh by the way, if you tell a recruiter, navy or marines, that the judge gave you a choice of prison or military you are not eligible for enlistment at all.

@@Drawfornoone I bailed the LA suburbs for Spain back in 98 when times were good for many. I've heard and seen that the country has gone to hell post pandemic. I know there are still a lot of good people there but in retrospect I'm glad I left. My social life sucks here in Spain. The Spanish are notoriously closed and suspicious and the women are very selfish here, but at least it's safe and I don't have to worry about getting shot on the freeway or carjacked.
